Older rock, but still a goodie.
That was a great concert.
Were you there?
We were there on Friday 22 January.
No, but I watched it on tv. You're lucky!
I have Tinitus in both ears, so my concert days are over. I made an exception when Tool came to town in Jan., but that was my swan song. I'm still paying the price, as the ringing significantly increased.
Sorry to hear bout your ear issues.
We still try to do one or two concerts a year but kinda tuff on my wife, she has a heart condition and has a pace maker/defibrillator so the magnets in the speaker can cause issues.
We thoroughly enjoyed the Bonamassa acoustic concert. Joe's parents seat right behind us. We flew up to NY planned to stay 2 nights but got snowed in and stay one extra night then took the train back to Atlanta. We've been following Joe for 10+ years and been to several concert.
But we still haven't been able to get to one UGA game. I did get to the over for the spring game a couple years back.
Prayers for your ear issues.
Amen. I'm praying for Casanova also. That has to be rough. Hurts my heart to think about.
I’ve been wearing something in my ears at shows since the early 00s. I try to always bring plugs but if I forget I’ll stuff toilet tissue in there just to have something. When people make fun of me I just say I want to hear my grandchildren tell me they love me.
Only time you don’t need them is at Radio City Music Hall. Unless it’s Sturgill Simpson. His live show tested the bounds
Thank you. I've been dealing with it for almost 30 years, but it's recently amped up and is really annoying. I've been taking Flavonoids, Chinese herbs and even seeing an Acupuncturist.
Nova, I feel ya on the tinnitus problem. I also have it in both ears due to chemotherapy, it definitely sucks. I saw some loud concerts in my younger days but by far the loudest was Ted Nugent. He put on a great show but my ears rang for four days.
Are you doing anything for the ringing? I'm not sure what I'm doing will work, but it's worth a shot.
No, haven’t tried anything Doc said not much I can do about it. Like other nerve issues just deal with it and hope for the best.
Ryan and George are back and reacting to a great Jane's Addiction song, 'Ocean Size'.
