Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

My aim is awful...don’t worry about it
Pretty simple.
Support the "G" and rock the mask. What a better way to promote your support for your team during these times. Seen quite a few various forms while I've been out. Love them...
It's also important to get this under control quickly given the emergence of a pandemic potential flu in China.
Here's a link to the new Chinese Swine Flu strain.

This one also takes about the G4 strain

Well, I found out today that one of the two major boat shows we are planning on displaying our boats at this fall just got cancelled due to Covid19. If the second boat show gets cancelled in October, I'm not sure how I will be able to make it through the losses without closing up shop with a $1M loss. Yikes 😮
I'm pretty upset that we basically gave up as a nation before we were in the clear and we have to start all over if we are to beat this thing. It's embarrassing as a nation, it will hurt our economy far worse than the 3 weeks saved by rushing to open and I just don't understand. We should have stayed the course instead of declaring mission accomplished too early.
Have to say I'm pretty darn frustrated right now.
Well have you ever worn a mask?! It’s uncomfortable!!

I have to admit. I laughed at your post. I didn't want to, but I did. Thanks Kasey, I needed that.
I feel the love flowing both ways on this thread today. Nice to see. We're all in this together.
Not going to catch up on all 102 pages here, but just gonna give a little status update
I have seen more positive cases in our emergency room in the last 48 hours than 3 weeks during the lockdown
the good news is that it seems to be mildly symptomatic patients who can go home versus the original critical ICU care needed
long story short, this is going the opposite way we want it to and fast as far as confirmed cases go
I feel for you big time. I sincerely hope you can survive or pivot in some way. I’m in the tradeshow business. Contractor/Decorator side. The last two weeks our company & every major competitor of ours and layed off ALL of their furloughed employees permanently...roughly 85% of the workforce producing the events. That tells me tradeshows are in real trouble for the long term. I’ve started looking elsewhere already, even though I’m lucky enough to still be employed (for now...ZERO company revenue since mid-March). I had to call my entire team yesterday and inform of the news...worst day of my career. My friends lives are completely ruined. It’s just not right.
I am sorry to hear about what you and your coworkers are going through and that you had to share that news with your employees.
If there's a silver lining here, it's that 991,501 (more people being tested means more data) people in Georgia have been tested with 81,291 confirmed cases. 8.1% of those tested were positive. Of those confirmed cases 2,323 were admitted to ICU. That's 2.8%.
I have no problem with the masks. I wear one every day. I kind of have to.
But it almost feels like some are setting the stage to put all the blame on the mask when something doesn't go right. Spike in numbers? " It's those folks that didn't wear the masks!" No football season? "Masks! And Trump too!"
Segments of society have become extremely good in deflecting responsibility and assigning blame to others for complex issues. I guess this is human nature to some extent. It's happened all throughout history. But right now it seems to be at a peak high.
I'm just saying, don't undersell the masks but don't oversell it either.
