Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Finally.......things may be turning in the right direction

The Big 12 is apparently leaning towards fall still, so the slim chance that we have a football season lives on for now.
Nebraska couldn't just pick up and leave under normal circumstances, but the Big10 likely breached the contract by not providing a conference schedule and not intending to pay out the TV share defined in the contract. Can't say for sure without seeing the contract, but any competent attorney would include an out if the conference didn't fufill it's obligations.
It's in the Big10s long-term benefit to keep Nebraska, so they could allow them to play non-con for a year and return to conference next year.
I don't know if those Big 10 teams could play or not.......I'm talking out of my rear like a lot of people.......who really knows anything....
Just ready for people to stand up and say......up yours.
So I guess Big 10 schools won't hold on campus classes this fall.....since it's so "unsafe"
Exactly...Ohio State's dorms open tomorrow. Makes no sense.
Based on Commish Sankey’s statement, SEC not making any changes to their plans at this time. That’s what’s up, time to showcase the SEC... hopefully.
Cue the “It just means more” commercials. (And by seasons end I‘ll have to mute them)
If SEC/ACC is successful this season it could be a big time mistake by the sit out conferences.
So, they can’t play football because they might get coronavirus, but they can go to school on campus with all the other Bucknuts where they might get coronavirus?
If I’m Justin Fields, I have an agent tomorrow morning and I’m on a flight to a professional training facility to prepare for the draft by tomorrow afternoon.
If they hate Jesus and football, they must be liberal.
If the SEC, ACC and BIG12 do indeed play, it will be interesting to see how COVID-19 spreads among the players who teams cancelled the season versus those that do not. My bet would be on those playing seeing fewer cases.
I can’t wait to chat with my Ohio State friend. This guy is a Legend...or was he a Leader? Ahh can’t remember....LOL Big 10. They are making a habit of embarrassing themselves.
Just in case......you may want to wait a few weeks before rubbing it in.
Oh yes, sound advice. I’m feeling good but still holding my breath.
Kevin Warren has said he hopes to use his platform* to help elect the next president. He may not be a "liberal" but he is politically active and wants a different president.
*He never said he would exploit a pandemic to oust Trump; he was referring to his program to get college athletes more involved in the political process and making sure they were registered to vote.
Why is he trying to hurt God? That man needs to take a cognitive test.
Cognitive tests are free in Thighland.
What if all conferences cancel there seasons and a select number of teams decide to play out a season and just schedule games against each other with no conference affiliations
