Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Interesting political factoid regarding the conference cancellations
Did some research regarding what conferences are playing and what conferences are not...then looked at the states that comprise those conferences...then looked at who the Governors are. Here you go...draw your own conclusions.
SEC - 11 states represented. 9 Republican Governors, 2 Democrat. Playing football.
ACC - 9 states represented. 5 Republican Govs, 4 Democrat. Playing football.
B12 - 5 States represented. 4 Republican Govs, 1 Democrat. Playing football.
P12 - 6 states represented. 2 Republican Govs, 4 Democrat. Not playing football.
B10 - 11 states represented. 5 Republican Govs, 6 Democrat. Not playing football.
Comments
Codebreaker.
Another way to say it, using your numbers, based on governorship:
SEC/ACC/B12 = 72% red states
P12/B10 = 59% blue states
Yeah, I meant it sarcastically as definition #2.
Seems to me your thesis is number two but your reasoning skews more toward number one
What did he state that was “invented”, or untrue?
Just presenting some facts. Are you disputing my findings?
About this being a liberal conspiracy about stopping college football? 💯%
You drew that conclusion on your own. Don't know how I could have presented the data any more unbiased as I did in the OP. But now that you mention it, it is a weird coincidence, right?
Did I? I think you’ve tipped your hand here bud.
and I think it’s just that...coincidence.
I'm with you. Conspiracy or not, I think it's a well understood phenomenon that people that make up a party tend to all vote and follow the actions of others in the same party. They all watch, read, and listen to the same media outlets that influences their decision making. Not only that, but these folks don't want to go against their party and risk being "canceled".
But I do think at this point, you or anyone else would be crazy NOT to at least question the narrative. There's been a lot of surreptitious activity and disinformation taking place beyond this virus.
