Well.... I will say that Fields will be a bust. I just don't see him excelling as a QB in the NFL. I'll eat my crow later if he does. But that's my prediction.
I admire you for putting it out there. I have no idea how well he'll do or not do, so it will be interesting to monitor. He's sort of like one da Bears' former QB's . Bobby Douglas, a big, strong QB who could run well.
I think Falcons whiffed on Fields. Justin has a chip on his shoulder and IMO he’ll ball out next year or when he gets his chance. Hope Falcons draft Azeez next. Then a couple of O line studs. Go dirty birds.
Well heck....this just posted...We (Falcons) have agreed to terms with QB AJ McCarron. Okay they go for the meat since they have a back up.
Fields is gonna b a bona-fide Superstar in Chicago in a couple of years and the Falcons will certainly rue the decision to pass him up. Mark my words.
Higher chance of Fields busting than Pitts.
Falcons are gonna Falcon aren't they.
Yeah Pitts is gonna b pure Dynamite no question but Fields is a generational talent at the games most important position so I'm baffled that a team in need of a succession plan at QB would pass him up. Just unbelievable. They'll regret it for sure. Again, mark my words.
A defense would help.
QBs are the least sure thing out there.
Falcons missed on Trask...but they picked up Feleipe. SMH.
Rule of Life #19, Never root for a NY sports Team...but man, the GIANTS are making it tough:)
Here are your teams to choose from.
Bears have four Dawgs: Riley Ridley (2019 Rd4), Roquan Smith (2018 Rd1), Javon Wims (2018 Rd7), and Reggie Davis (UDFA 2017).
Giants have four Dawgs: Azeez Ojulari (2021 Rd2), Andrew Thomas (2020 Rd1), Tae Crowder (2020 Rd7), and Lorenzo Carter (2018 Rd3). They also drafted DeAndre Baker (2019 Rd1) then released him after his off-field issues. He has since signed with the Chiefs.
Titans have four Dawgs: Monty Rice (2021 Rd3), Davin Bellamy (2018 UDFA), Maurice Smith (2017 UDFA), and Ben Jones (2012 Rd4). They also drafted Isaiah Wilson (2020 Rd1) then traded him to Miami after his off-field issues. He has since been released by Miami.
A handful of NFL teams (Cardinals, Chiefs, Jaguars, Patriots, Rams, Ravens) carry three Dawgs.

ETA: I believe these numbers are up-to-date. Others are welcome to correct the record if needed.
Feleipe? Seriously?🤦🏻♂️
Beautify done AnotherDawg. I'm oddly drawn to the Browns, Love Chubb and don't find Mayfield painful to watch after humbling himself. Maybe I will just rotate year to year based on who is where. Giants may be a team to watch this year for me. Franks was the last straw, done with Atl.
The Felipe at Arkansas showed leadership and discipline lacking under Mullen. Trask brought those qualities to the field by himself, nothing learned from Mullen.
As UDFA, Felipe is worth a look if he continues to develop like he did last year under Pittman and Briles.
there wasn't much doubt about FF having athletic ability. the rest of the package? I guess we'll see. If he turns out to be a good QB, is Mullen going to claim credit?
Maybe but I doubt it after FF’s interviews giving credit to Pittman for helping him become a man. I could not find video of that interview but found an article on NFL blitz. He said he learned “ a bunch” from DM but said Pittman was a great guy genuine who taught him to be a leader.
Generational talent? Haha, ok. You must be a family member.
I think he's more like an "excitable" fellow - his heart has more power than logic at times. Nothing wrong with being a glass half-full person if you can handle the inevitable disappointment that follows at times.
Yeah a generational talent, certainly far, far, far superior than the guy that Kirby started over him when he was here at UGA and is AT THE VERY LEAST Trevor Lawrences equal but............. Well u know. 😎😎😎
