- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Someone loves me
Another Nevada Bourbon as yet available only in Nevada and Northern California is Frey (pronounced Fry) Ranch Straight Bourbon Whiskey out of Fallon. Great early reviews and I certainly like it. All the grains are grown on the ranch and has a great start and finish. Selling well in its market area and is but $38 a bottle. Give it a try when it comes to your area.
Everything is a store pick or allocation
What do they charge for Larceny in your neck of the woods? just wondering.
Would still love to find a bottle of Rip at list price!
That's a store pick but it's $27. Can find regular bottles a couple bucks cheaper
That's the only one I've found. Cost me $70. I'm holding on to that last couple of pours
One of the grocery chains out here on the west coast has specials on Larceny about every 6 weeks at $19.99. The normal price at Wal Mart out here is $22. That same chain has Buffalo Trace on sale about every 6 weeks for $19.99 as well. These prices are the only reason I read that store's mail out advertising circular.
Evan Williams Black is like Hersheys Chocalate, cheap but tasty. I'll venture into the 30 to 40 buck range for company, but Black label suits my palette.
Whiskey Advocate recently passed out their 2020 Whiskey Awards and Larceny Barrel Proof was their winner. I had some this past weekend and it's very good... very.
Yep, I am a fan. I also enjoy the Makers Mark Cask Strength. If you like the Larceny BP you might like that as well for $10 less and easier to find too.
I have had their single barrel via store picks countless times. Drinking one now. Never had their barrel proof. But now that it's won that award it'll be impossible to find and price will double lol
Hahaha, yep so true that so many pay no attention to what's right under their nose until some silly award gets posted. I'm still waiting for the masses to realize what a steal Jack Daniels Single Barrel is. Crazy good and no one other than true whiskey aficionados will look at it because of the JD connotation.
there are still some steals/values out there
Very Old Barton, Old Grandad 114, Buffalo Trace (for some markets, I can get for $25ish pretty much every day)
I was really disappointed when Henry McKenna 10 year BiB won that award a couple years ago. Probably three now, I guess. That was a weekly drink for me and was low to mid $30s/bottle. Now, if/when I can find, it is $50-$60 so I never buy it
