Your single biggest key to beating Clemson ?..
I know I'm revisiting this question, but it's game day eve, we've had time to read and ponder it.
I'm still of the mind our single biggest key is pressuring Uiagalelei. That includes contain, pressure without containment would be letting a stallion out of the coral. I just don't see us being beaten by any other player on Clemson's roster. Plus in these types of games the team with the more effective QB wins an overwhelming percentage of the time.
As noted before, their biggest playmaker is probably Ross, he's a receiver who needs Uiagalelei to be effective to be a factor himself. We should be better at RB than they are, if it's a push at QB, we should have the better team on offense. I think we're at least as talented on defense, so we're back to limiting their QB. Consistently get outside pressure, squeeze the pocket and cover their receivers for a couple of seconds and we win.
Your turn.

Scoring more points. I think if they manage that they'll win.
I agree with both of you, I think our defense has to play well enough to allow our offense to score at least one more point than they do... And to do that I feel we have to pressure their QB. This could be a real smash mouth game in the end. Go Dawgs!
Sound logic, by ''they'' I think you mean we.
Burton needs to dominate his matchup against Andrew booth
I mean they as in the players. I volunteered to suit up but I was told no
Very good points. Agree completely.
We also need to be able to run against that DL. And keep them from establishing the run.
Sustaining UGA drives that end with Georgia always scoring points. Preferably TOUCHDOWNS. Creating a lot of havoc plays (disruptions) while Georgia is out playing on defense, in order to force Clemson into "3 and outs", and then gain constant field advantage throughout the game. Limiting our own mistakes, (fewer penalties) and then also not allowing Clemson's offense to get into any kind of rhythm.
Allegedly Booth is not shadowing him.
A win will happen if our passing game succeeds early. The game plan works if Burton and other receivers get open and catch the ball. Our running game will then be successful and we will control the clock. If not, we go 3 & out, and our defense will be gassed.
I was just gonna say not allowing Ugileilei to get into a rhythm but you covered the other points.
Do we know who the refs for the game are? ACC? SEC? B1G?...please no!
Penalties. We have got to have fewer penalties than they do. I know with it being the first game of the season it's going to happen, but that has really hurt us in years past.
Winning the turnover battle. I predict we win that 4-1 and win the game.
I like his odds against their corners even more then with how Dabo was talking up burton in press conferences it makes it seem stopping him will be a focal point of Clemson’s defensive gameplay . IMO he’s gonna get his regardless but booth rlly the only guy in their corner room athletically that has a chance to challenge burton any non booth matchup is a huge mismatch.
I'm guessing another receiver will lead in receptions against Clemson. Booth had excellent stats when the ball was thrown his way last season.
My vote for biggest key = JT
If he is in sync with the receivers and gets us into the right plays we will outscore CU - if he's not on top of his game, we wont.
