Meanwhile, I’ll watch the walk on and cali transfer while your boys play
If LSU does the smart thing and fires Coach O and bring Joe Brady back LSU will b right in the thick of it for Mannings signature. What Brady did to aid the development of Joe Burrow was nothing short of stunning and a QB family like the Mannings would sure take notice and strongly consider LSU.
Brady is an awesome coach but it’s really unlikely, he’s an NFL guy that likes that type of coaching more than recruiting. He’s eyeing a NFL head coaching job
Point is, if you're LSUs AD u have to make that call and make him an offer that he can't resist because if not, you're not doing your job.
Think he’ll commit sooner than later, I would guess in a month or two so won’t be a long time as you’re referring to. But keeping him as a commit is definitely a part of everything you mention. After this visit to Texas and then back to Georgia he might be ready
Well if he doesn’t want to go to Georgia because of talent ahead of him as you alluded to, I’m not sure what deal they can offer that’s better than Georgia cuz they’re in the same boat at QB, signing a 5 star for 22” themselves. Higher ranked than stockton I might add
When we need BA to do our recruit evaluations I think we'll be in trouble.
Exactly. Wherever he does he will have a highly rated guy in front of him.
Fair point 😂
Who's LSUs 2022 QB Committ, Walker Howard?
Cordell Walker ?
Walker Howard Okay I just looked it up but if Manning wants to start as a TF, Texas may b his best option as I think 2022 may b Thompsons last year but I'm not sure about that but Texas QB room is not loaded with high 4 stars and 5 stars like Alabama, Georgia and other Southern powers so Ole Miss and Texas could stand out to Manning and obviously u can do a lot worse than Lane Kiffin and Steve Sarkisian when it comes to developing QBs and putting them in positions to maximize their talents.
Texas has a 4 star for 22 but not as loaded I agree. not bad places at all, but if he wants talent around him, Georgia is where it’s gonna be at. TE room is going to be scary if it’s not already and Kirby has stepped up his game on recruiting WR. Also, those coaches have their own risk factors from their past that still make them sorta wild cards on their tenure and Kirby is as steady as you get in a college football landscape that sees a crazy amount of turnover and stability does matter
I think BA is just downplaying it. Like, Manning is already gonna be hard to pull, but even harder with the QB talent we already have. BA would be thrilled to get him but at the same time, no biggie if we don't. I feel the same way also.
Good point about the stability with CKS. Monken on the other hand will probably be outa Athens in two if not sooner. Course most recruits know that coach turnover is going to happen no matter where they commit. Especially so with assistant coaches.
