Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

January of '59 for me....😉 I think they cleansed us with Bulldawg water...😃
One of the reasons I left the Burbs. Good people, slower life style and the fresh mountain air. And then....
"Doo, doo, doo...looking out my back door..."
I'm seriously jealous.
Good CCR reference and great view
CCR will be played at my "celebration of life", ain't going to be any mourning when that time comes. 😎😉
Sorry for the OT Tex, but as "Long as I can see the light"......
My threads are made for OT. I like conversations.
No…just some great visits with my son and his wife. He’s with Lockheed Martin.
Wife and I spent a week in Maggie Valley celebrating our 50th (9/11 of all days). Rented a house in the hills above MV Country Club. Played golf and ate well at Bogarts and Red Rooster among other places. Breakfast at Joey’s and a nice place in Waynesville, Beach Mountain Cafe. Great place to visit with lots of friendly folks.
What years were you living there ? Where did you go to HS ? Did you play sports in HS ? I taught and coached at UWG from 81-06.

I think you might win the Rand-McNally award. There was one other poster who travelled extensively. May have to split the award. Do you want Rand or McNally ?
You know this is just a great thread.. Thanks @texdawg it's a great read learning a little about our members of the Bull Dawg Nation, relax take a deep breath. And then get back to the serious business of Gator hating and College football! Seriously great thread.
I love reading these posts. But @ghostofuga1 view has me seriously jealous. Walk out your back door during deer season.
Is it true that" England swings like a pendulum do"?
