Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

How many times does he have to beat him out ?
I’m prepared for this too. But @Kasey might be able to give insight whether he can even do that
One more would be the answer
tough to do while holding a clipboard.
One more. I honestly believe JT is the better QB...but Stet keeps getting the job done. JT has all the measurables. Stet seems to have all the immeasurables.
Thanks for the insight! Did he at least look the part?
I've never seen him play. He was a low 4-star guy, like around .89 composite, 6'5" 225lbs. Big kid, but I have a feeling it's a HUGE drop off from Young to him. Paul Tyson is his name.
I have no special insight. If we win it all, Stet may move on feeling like he's lived the dream. JTD may come back depending on how it all shakes out. I think JT has a higher ceiling. Think we can win with both, may find ourselves in a situation where we need both.
Well at least he looked that part and that’s half the battle. That’s a big kid
I meant on the transferring side
but stet LOVES football. I think he’ll make somebody force him to hang ‘em up
Yea, still no special inside info. Probably won't know anything until after the season.
yea but if he wins a title? could enter the draft and maybe have someone in the NFL take a shot on him. He's just as good as Jake Fromm is/was and Jake got drafted, so why not Stetson? Worst case he kills it for a secondary league while honing his craft.
Yeah, Stet is coming back. He's not getting drafted. It's a great feel-good story, but he has zero NFL potential.
Well he transferred before the new rule? So he can transfer without sitting out? That’s what I don’t know.
that’s possible, I don’t disagree that he’s equivalent to Fromm so it’s possible. I guess in my head I just put Stet in that Jason White Category but that may not be fair
oh I gotcha. yea he got to play right away, so unless he's a graduate he'd have to sit out as well per Seth Emerson.
