A minor hiccup, guys...
Braves play the worst team in the NL starting tonight for a three game stretch.
Good practice for the games in LA this weekend!
Go Braves!
@donniem Yeah. I got no complaints with our other relievers. The set up guys and the closers have been fantastic. And our starting pitching has been great too.
Just kind of irks me when you take out the starting pitcher with two on and two out and you can't throw strikes. It's like there is something wrong with his mechanics.
Starting Pitcher Shuster throws the change-up too. And many of his patches dropped out of the strike zone just like McHugh's. The difference was that Shuster's pitches must have looked like strikes to the hitters and McHugh's never did.
@Bdw3184 AMEN!!! GO BRAVES!!!!
We need a sweep and a series win, or vice-versa, to close August and take us in to September.
I've been amazed at how focused the Braves continue to be with a hug lead in the NL East. They are almost guaranteed a playoff spot but keep grinding. Snit says it isn't him - it's the players self-motivating themselves. Hope they don't ever hit that pause button - it's tough to get the start button pushed again.
DeJong gave them the ultimate complement. "Their Best Players Play Everday."
What a night for Ronald Acuna. Four for five with 5 rbi's and 2 stolen bases in a 14-4 rout of the Rockies.
The game included two fans rushing the field in the seventh inning. One gave Ronald a hug and the other fan inadvertently bumped into Ronald knocking him to the ground. Apparently, no ill intentions, but still a scary situation.
Big weekend series with the Dodgers starting Thursday night.
Cooler weather on the way. College Football starting. Braves playing well with bigger games on deck.
Best time of the year is coming boys.
Yessir!!! Simply otherworldly!!!! GO BRAVES!!!
Ozuna and Arcia just hit the the 249th and 250th home runs of the season in the top of the sixth setting an all time Atlanta Braves HR single season record eclipsing the 2019 Braves record…..and there is still a month left in the season!!!!
Outstanding!
Go Braves!!!
and yet another promising start from a rookie call-up. I just love the fact that one can't tell who in the lineup is going to go off on any given night.
GO BRAVES!!!
Tough matchup tonight against the Dodgers at their place. Our best pitcher Strider against Lance Lynn for the Dodgers who they acquired from the White Sox. Started 5 games for the Dodgers with an ERA just over 2.0, but 5.56 for the season. And 6 hrs since coming over from the White Sox. 34 for the season.
Probably the weakest starting pitcher on the Dodgers staff. I like our chances.
A real test for the Bravos - it's like a playoff series. Interesting to see how our bats hold up vs their excellent pitching.
