Justified was also my favorite but the sequel was a cheap imitation of the original. Longmire was my second favorite.
These are my favorites: Top Five bingers.
1. Bosch
2. Blue Bloods
3. Joe Pickett
4. The Chosen
5. Tulsa King
😎
Didn't even make it to episode 2. The idea of some idiotic motorcycle gang running a town is patently absurd. Nowhere does that exist. And I'm an avid motorcyclist. It's such a bad cliche.
.
I really liked FNL till I realized that Coach Taylor was a huge cheater. Played kids he knew were cheating on tests, skipping classes, using steroids., stealing…he was a dirty coach.
If you liked Band of Brothers, The Pacific is even better.
you know it’s a fictional show right?
Yeah, stupidly fictional.
you probably stopped watching Game of Thrones because dragons and ice zombies don’t exist either haha
Watched it twice. Greatest series of all time. It's not about the fictional story, it's about human nature. GoT is more believable than SoA from a humanistic perspective. Same with Star Wars and Star Trek. They are realistic from a human interaction perspective. SoA was just dumb, in my opinion.
but you only watched one episode…I’ll admit SOA fell off a little in the middle, but seasons 1-3 are entertaining as hell
Man, I loved Longmire. Kind of like the CKS of small town law enforcement.
1.Band of Brothers
2. Lonesome Dove
3. GOT
4 . Vikings
5. Hell on Wheels
6. Justified
7. Deadwood
8. The Pacific
9. Shogun
10. Jack Ryan
Have seen all but The Pacific. The only one I didn't get/like was GOT. Not sure what Shogun I liked more, the original or the more recent, but I did like both. Spoiled by the books, Jack Ryan was A-/B+ for me. Absolutely loved Vikings. Being a fan of westerns, absolutely, positively, without a doubt, loved Lonesome Dove. It's sequels and prequels were, for me, good but not great. In these days of so much "meh" tv, these were all well worth watching and re-watching.
You gotta see The Pacific. Better then Band of Brothers.
Try GoT again. I only made it through the first two seasons the first time and gave up because it was too confusing. I couldn't keep up with all the characters and plot lines. I watched it again last year and it was much easier to follow along. By starting over I was able follow the story better. Also, on Netflix at the end of every episode there is a director's cut where they explain what just happened. Really helped me follow along. Once it clicked I was hooked. It's probably the greatest TV series of all time in my book.
Think I might start The Crown. Having gone to High School in England back in the 80's I got a healthy dose of royal family insight. The show comes up on almost every Top 20 Netflix show rankings and is supposed to be historically accurate. Anyone seen it yet?
