Braves 2025

I have been a loyal Braves fan since they moved to Atlanta. Seen up and down years and a few Worlds Champs! The 2025 team will be lucky to win 60 games based on their first 5 games. Very little hustle, going through the motions, swinging for the fence, etc. Example, against San Diego, Olsen hits a long fly ball to the top of the fence in right center field. The right fielder jumps up brushes the ball falls down next to the ball, tosses the ball to the center fielder who throws the ball to the infield. Meanwhile Olsen trots all the way to second base! If he had been running full speed he makes third base easy and maybe home if Dan Diego misplays the ball. If I’m the manager, I jerk him out of the game right then because I have fore-warned the players that lack of hustle will result in embarrassment. In Snitker’s defense, he may have been napping at that time? Bottom line: Braves lost that game 1-0! Hope they can turn it around!

Smart $ says they will win one, somewhere along the line.
Will it happen before Jurickson Profar returns?
Lord, I hope so!!
I know I’ve said this over and over but I can’t stand the way Snitker manages, it’s even worse than what Bobby would tolerate from a lack of effort. Snit got incredibly lucky in 2021 which extended his career, wild card team got hot and hit bombs all post season and pitching was lights out. That’s the only way Snitker teams are going to win. No grinding out wins, ever. Heck, look at 23 team with those stats in regular season, but cold in playoffs trying to hit home runs. Here’s to hoping we have a new manager by the all star break. It’s a shame we have wasted the prime of all these talented players by allowing them to play lazy baseball
I'm still furious about Profar. In his statement yesterday, he called himself a "fan favorite"😡😡😡 Excuse me sir you've been on our team for 4 games. You tested positive for PEDs in the offseason (per your statement) and still joined our team. Now our outfield is gutted. And you have the gall to call yourself a FAN FAVORITE?!?? Bye.
BRUTAL start to the season, but it can't be this way the entire season, right? RIGHT???? Please say that's right lol 😂
That's right!!!
Until Snitker learns how to direct “small ball” strategies such as hit and run, run and hit, bunt a man into scoring position, bunt for a hit when the infield is playing back, squeeze play, etc., the Braves will live and die with “home run” baseball. The Braves are wasting a lot of talent with his strategy. Shame.
Have they bought the torpedo bats yet?
They’re well on their way (0-7). Slim odds but I think Snitker has the “right stuff” to give it a shot.
I thought for sure they had one last night. Oh well. Get the first one at home.
Last year's Chicago White Sox team had one of the worst records of the modern era losing 121 games. Pray we're not that bad.
Win number three. Let's keep it going.
Eleventh inning come-from-behind thriller. The Phil's took the lead 2-1 in the top half of the inning. And the Braves tied it with Riley's double, and winning the game on Ozuna's two-run homerun.
Probably the craziest thing was the game didn't finish until one a.m. this morning and Included a rain delay of 2 hrs 45 mins in the 6th inning.
Schwellenbach continues to shine. Strider is about back. Just need more consistent offense.
