Agreed! The Cubs' fans and the Bosox fans are always the worst because, as you said, there are a lot of those transplants in Atlanta…..and boy, can they be loud and rowdy!
Especially the Red Sox fans!
Looking forward to a sweep and then bring on the Red Sox!
yeah, I'd like to know about all the pickoffs. I wonder if the new coach is changing how we take leads/read the pitcher. If it's new for us, maybe there is a learning curve, and we'll soon benefit from it?
Suarez and Doubon making Anthopolous look good in off-season signings. Having 2 closers has really bolstered bullpen. Doubon seems like he can be put anywhere on field and getting timely hits.
Dubon is definitely a swiss army type of player!
Tough loss for the lads. 0 for 6 with runners in scoring position. Sale pitched well enough to win most games. Still, a series win against a very good team.
Not sure what that thing is at the top of the page. Any hints?

not sure what you mean…….
Definitely a tough loss….. but…..
Best thing is that we have 30 wins in the bank…. nobody can take those away from them!
There are 118 games left in the season….if the Braves go 70-48 the rest of the year they will have 100 wins…. or they could go 60-58 (basically .500 ball) the rest of the year to have 90 wins (we had 79 (?) or maybe 76 wins last year )
Either number is definitely doable!
Love this team!
I have some "things" on the bottom of my page when I try to quote a post. They say "choose files" and "no files chosen". I don't know what they mean or from where they came. Mye they don't show up on others' screens. Can you tell me what you see when you view this post?
I just posted and those "things" don't show up on the post when I view it after sending.
Just a programming bug. The icons below do the same thing but both methods are showing through on the webpage.
thanks
I have seen that to…like just now!
If I click on it, it tells me to click on “photo library “, “take photo “ or “choose files”…
Never have I seen this….
When I post, it goes away…🤔
cubs fans used to rival braves fans all over the country. They were the only two teams always on tv. Braves tbs and cubs wgn (?) I think. Remember when cubs only played day games st home ?
@Dawgwired Yes, I remember when the Cubs only played day games. I became a Braves fan in 1966 when the Braves moved from Milwaukee to Atlanta.
We moved to Detroit that year and in 1969 back to Chicago when I was 16. My mom took us to a game and it happened to be the game that Kenny Holtzman threw a no-hitter.
In the seventh inning, Hank Aaron had a chance to breakup the no-hitter when he hit a deep drive to left. But the wind was blowing in that day, and the ball was caught at the warning track preserving the no-hitter.
Cubs fans were thrilled. Me, not so much.
Another extra inning thriller. Young Fuentes comes through again, this time in the highest leverage situation a reliever can face (I guess). Runner on 2nd and no one out. He came through like a seasoned vet. Yaz got a clutch hit after failing to bunt a couple of times. Strider was effective although not particularly sharp. "Rake" Baldwin got another homer although it was almost prevented when it went in and out of the OF's glove. Harris with a HR too. Overall, a close hard fought game. Nice win.
And Sandy Leon’s play was incredible!
Picked off a man at first and threw out two cubbies trying to steal second and third! And went 1-2 at the plate!
Huge! Great flexibility at catcher right now!
