Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Re: Atlanta Braves
I love baseball. I love numbers. baseball viewership is dying (I believe it has to do with the greed of seiling and owners not broadcasting all the games and length of games... alll 162 of them) the games get boring when a gimme out of a pitcher comes up. They pitch around the 8 to get to the pitcher. DH adds excitement.… -

Scott Rolen elected into the Hall of Fame
I've always thought that Dale Murphy was a few good seasons shy of a HOF induction. He was the best in the league for 4-5 years. 2 MVPs, 5 Gold Gloves, 4 Silver Sluggers. He played at least 150 games in 11 seasons. Played in all 162 games four consecutive seasons from 1982-1985. Scott Rolen was a great player. Great glove… -
Atlanta Braves 2021 Season Thread
An inauspicious start indeed...I know it's a long season, 162 games and all that. But... 0-4, and correct me if I'm wrong but didn't we lose 2 'Opening Day' walkoffs....without playing a double-header...not sure if that's ever happened before. And oh yeah, lost the All-Star Game too...all in the first week of the season.… -
Re: Folty
Management has been a bit too cautious with our starters in my opinion. I get the need to protect young arms, but the pen needs protection too, a balance has to be struck in the long run. We're seeing hitting finding it's level already. Albies is not a power hitter and several others who started fast are fading. We've been… -
Re: The 10 greatest seasons by a starting pitcher in MLB history....
I always thought during Maddux's best run that no one could do anything with his pitches. He would force you into a weak swing, often early in the pitch count. I t allowed his pitch counts to consistently stay low and he could go deeper into games. Some of the dominant guys would have 130+ count 16 strikeout night, but… -
Re: Missouri opens its so-called ‘November to Remember’ as underdog at Georgia
@Brooksie...just based on results and SOS thus far I would rank the Top 4 as #1 Ohio State (beat ranked ND and Penn State), #2 UGA, #3 Michigan, #4 FSU...these rankings mean nothing right now as we all know, but it's fun to see how it shakes out each week. And it depends on if they win, how they play against Mizzou, and… -
Re: Georgia marches on without Manning and questions about Kirby Smart quarterbacks
No serious media member said that he would beat out Mac Jones, who had crazy stats playing for an injured Tua in 2019 before Bryce Young even set foot on campus. Also Mac Jones was the #9 QB in his class and the #162 player overall. So his beating out ANY true freshman QB, 5 star or not, was totally expected. And then…
