Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Re: Why does everyone think that UF stands a chance of beating us?
Thanks for the stroll down memory lane, however this is a different capn driving the ship. You’re right, UF will be tough but they are not talented enough, nor will we be ill prepared to blow us out. Jordan Hare aside, I’m not thinking SEC teams blow us out. We will win these games. USCjr: 31-17. LSU: 20-17. UF: 21-10.… -
Re: Newcombe Gets Sent Down
He's also averaged 37 saves a season since leaving the Braves. Braves closers over those 4 years had 24 saves as their highest save total for any closer (their average is much lower). Kimbrel's ERA average over those 4 years was 2.54, and the Braves' average 3.42 ERA. Mind you Kimbrell was playing 3 of those 4 years in the… -
Re: Georgia football fans have expensive 2024 season ahead, dent remains in home schedule
No joke, man. If you were a High School Senior...and you had 4 or 5 stars after your name, on the recruiting boards...with the Dawgs hot on your trail...wouldn't you want to play against that schedule, next year? Just to see if you measure up. If it doesn't work out...you can always transfer. Lol You know doggone well,… -
Re: Was the 2023 season a succesful one for the Georgia football program?
2023 was a successful season on so many levels. Undefeated regular season with wins against rivals Auburn, Florida, Tennessee and a good Missouri team, while dealing with more injuries than I can recall. Losing only 1 game by 3 points against a top 10 team with 2 of our best players limping around the field. Maintaining a… -
Re: Georgia linebacker Jamon Dumas-Johnson expected to enter transfer portal
Personally, I think "fans" and media are overreacting to the impact of these transfers and how they came about. IMO...these guys discuss this stuff, as a team, throughout the year. I don't believe JDJ's transfer was a surprise...to the team. Who's gonna go?...Who's gonna stay and protect the team and legacy.?...Who can use… -
Re: Brock Bowers leads streaking Georgia into record books
And Stetson Bennett. "epitomizes great ability combined with diligence, perseverance and hard work." Bennett worked about as hard as any athlete I've seen...AND...persevered through his diligence and commitment to "the game". "Great Ability" is a relative term, that apparently shifts and morphs every year. It used to go to… -
Re: WATCH: Kirby Smart says ‘bloodbaths’ with Kentucky have Georgia players’ attention
The cold has me a little concerned. Most of UGA's players aren't used to playing in cold weather. The ball reacts a little differently in cold weather, too. This might be a closer game than expected. Considering the weather, IMO, this is going to be a relatively low scoring affair....UGA 24....KTY 10. It's possible that we… -
Re: Georgia football podcast: Here’s why ESPN’s evaluation of UGA’s QB situation might be wrong
@BigDawg61 2002 season we went 13-1. Only loss to Florida. In a game Greene started but Richt was letting Shockley play a couple of series a game. He throws a pick six in the game. We lose by 7(Also the T. Edwards drop game). We beat Arkansas 30-3 in SECCG. If we only play Greene that season we are playing for (and… -
Re: Sentell’s Intel: What we’re hearing on the Carson Beck decision this week
These players and coaches do not live in a vacuum...Beck has told Kirby and Bobo exactly what he is going to do, which is come back for another year....just working out the NIL. One more year can only raise his draft status....remember the "Heisman" talk here and there....his stats were almost as good as Daniels (save… -
Re: Cincinnati coach Luke Fickell shares biggest challenges Georgia presents
It's going to be an interesting game. How much will the communication be effected on defense with the opt-out's? How much pressure will the Dawg's defense be able to bring. It looks like the run game is the strength of the Cincinnati offense. I don't see them getting more than 75 YDS on the ground. It will be on the young…
