Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Re: Dawgs’ flashes of brilliance in opener marred by too many unforced errors
We got a Week 1 24 point road victory against what could be the second best team in the division based on yesterday's results and the laughable performance of UF against Miami! There's room for improvement, but improving on a lopsided conference win is the New Georgia Bulldogs! We aren't that far removed from sweating out… -
Re: UGA vs UF
We had no killer instinct on occasions when we had a better team but lost. Florida did have it. They had the advantage of believing they would beat us every game....we just came in hoping we could win. There's a lot to be said for having the psychological edge. Having won the past 2 by a combined score of 78-24, I hope… -
Re: Why does everyone think that UF stands a chance of beating us?
Thanks for the stroll down memory lane, however this is a different capn driving the ship. You’re right, UF will be tough but they are not talented enough, nor will we be ill prepared to blow us out. Jordan Hare aside, I’m not thinking SEC teams blow us out. We will win these games. USCjr: 31-17. LSU: 20-17. UF: 21-10.… -
Re: Newcombe Gets Sent Down
He's also averaged 37 saves a season since leaving the Braves. Braves closers over those 4 years had 24 saves as their highest save total for any closer (their average is much lower). Kimbrel's ERA average over those 4 years was 2.54, and the Braves' average 3.42 ERA. Mind you Kimbrell was playing 3 of those 4 years in the… -
Re: WATCH: Kirby Smart says ‘bloodbaths’ with Kentucky have Georgia players’ attention
The cold has me a little concerned. Most of UGA's players aren't used to playing in cold weather. The ball reacts a little differently in cold weather, too. This might be a closer game than expected. Considering the weather, IMO, this is going to be a relatively low scoring affair....UGA 24....KTY 10. It's possible that we… -
Re: Kirby Smart-Dan Mullen football rivalry apparently back on
I see Will Muschamp getting a Power 5 HC job before Dan Mullen. Mainly because Muschamp is a good recruiter. Mullen was HC at the flagship university in the richest recruiting state in the country and didn't or couldn't recruit. He dug his own grave. Add in a big mouth and multiple **** comments and Mullen doesn't meet… -
Re: Georgia football podcast: Here’s why ESPN’s evaluation of UGA’s QB situation might be wrong
@BigDawg61 2002 season we went 13-1. Only loss to Florida. In a game Greene started but Richt was letting Shockley play a couple of series a game. He throws a pick six in the game. We lose by 7(Also the T. Edwards drop game). We beat Arkansas 30-3 in SECCG. If we only play Greene that season we are playing for (and… -
Re: What Texas A&M firing Jimbo Fisher means for Georgia football
Jimbo is one of those coaches whose teams will only beat teams that are outclassed talent wise. Hearing Deion's grumblings about the talent level at CO makes me put him in that category as well. There are many others. They don't outcoach or out scheme anybody. They can only out talent them. Where does aTm go next? Urban… -
Re: BREAKING: Elite in-state ATH Demello Jones commits to Georgia football
"It is the "right" fit and not the "most talented" player that the 'Dawgs can sign these days." , Jeff Sentell. OR a prospect's NIL demands/expectations may preclude him from committing to UGA. BUT JS said a lot in his response to @bogarttad below. It is apparently a whole different recruiting ballgame these days. So UGA…
