Friend sent this to me because he wanted me to go fishing. I said I had grass to cut, but wished I was wetting a line
Seems like any kind of uphill terrain would also be a deal breaker. The nice thing if I go with the Snapper from HD is the 90 Day return policy if I decide I dont like it, and at $610 it better be pretty awesome.
I do want one of the chainsaws, and the pairing with the lawnmower is pretty important. Not having to carry gas in the vehicle when Im travelling backroads is a hugely attractive option, but I know from experience with a battery powered Stihl that the 56v chainsaw will not cut the same as a gas chainsaw. The Stihl is an awesome tool, but it doesnt have the power or speed of a gasser. Every tree is different, which will change the drain on the battery. Even with a brushless motor, the ramp up in torque is not going to equal a gasser. It’s just not, but just know that and don’t try to tackle a tree the size of your vehicle rims for more than a cut or two out in the middle of the woods where you dont have a charger.
Cant believe there's no mention of the grass in this thread. It has feelings too. Little TLC is needed before you whack it with mower of any kind. Jmo
What every retired gunny sergeant dreams about.
Grass kisser.
Pulled the trigger on a Snapper 82 volt this week from Home Depot. Cuts even and smooth, plus the bagger works very well. Just know it wont pickup the sidewalk for some reason, but I have a blower. Did a nice job on our zoysia (pic was taken prior to use) and cut my neighbors wet fescue like it was nothing. I think he is going to get one.
Another nice thing - it’s red, like a lawnmower is supposed to be.
That is a $75 M Hollywood movie - that is. "Groundhog Day - Payback Time" Tag: "In a world where vermin determine the length of winter, mankind finally puts its foot down, er..., feet off the ground and beyond the curb!"
I don't think your manhood suffers if you decide to do a small thing for the air your kids breathe.
That said, no I haven't tried one. Something that bothered me when looking at them is most of the returned mowers at the local Home Depot were electrics, even several high end Eco-whatyoumacallits.
That was 3 years ago, with the rapid improvement of batteries I'm thinking they'll keep getting stronger.
Mean Green makes a zero turn electric beast.

A good lawn mower is the one which mows the grass very smoothly, is easy to use and doesn’t give you a problem with it’s manufacturing or design.
The lawn mowers which are the best in the market are:
Black & Decker SPCM1936 Cordless Electric Self-Propelled Lawn Mower.
Sun Joe iON16LM Cordless Lawn Mower with Brushless Motor.
Ego LM2001 3-in-1 and LM2102SP Cordless Lawn Mower.
Ryobi RY40180 Cordless Electric Lawnmower
In case you don’t have the correct knowledge about lawn mowers or you are a busy professional then it’s better to get in touch with a lawn mowing professional near you.
You can connect with Samedaypros to find the right professional for you.
I went the battery operated route on my weed eater and blower a few years back due to having some back issues but still use a riding gas operated mower.
They're quiet, I can tell you that much. I have a neighbor that has one and it cuts his grass.
