Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

MoMo's in Tallahassee is also pretty good, IIRC.
Unless you detour while going to/from a State Penn State game (or smaller schools), you'll never see this place. Here because it is so good, and incredible that it is where it is. (small town north of Harrisburg, PA on US 209)
Nino's Italian Restaurant, Tower City, PA
Those v v ham and cheese "puffs" as they are called are exquisite. Come with their own sauce. Have eggplant fries with marinara sauce. (Homer's ecstasy)
The pizza sauce and crust are magnifico. Portions generous. They have a chicken and salad which is wonderful, as are its "cheeseburger plain" with their homemade roll/bun.
Its about 15 min., 12 miles from the Tremont/Tower City exit of I-81
I think the original owner died recently, but Nicola Pizza at Rehoboth Beach (Delaware) is pretty famous and deservedly so. Skip the pie and order the signature "Nicoboli."
Hah there’s a decent place in Orlando by the same name. Guess it helps legitimize your nyc credentials
Bruno’s on 30-A
@Kasey Hit us up with your NYC list. I'm sure you can get good pizza there just about anywhere (kinda like BBQ down here). But do you have a Top 3?
@AnotherDawg do I?! Of course
by the slice...
pizza suprema (near MSG)
mama’s (upper west side near Columbia university)
upside pizza (near Times Square. Best slice in that area)
paulie gee’s slice shop (if you’re in Brooklyn)
whole pie...
john’s (any location)
roberta’s
totono’s (Coney Island, only on weekends, but it’s the second oldest pizzeria in nyc, founded by the man who basically invented coal oven style and it’s the only one worth waiting in line for)
Atlanta-Mo’s Pizza on Briarcliff
Chicago-Lou Malnatis (tried the original UNOs there once and wasn’t impressed)
NYC-Johns Pizza
Athens-back in my student days Sons of Italy in 5-Points was best
Emory-Everybody’s closed a few years ago but it was excellent
Cam's New York pizzeria in Watertown NY was great. Maybe three tables inside the restaurant though.
Also Belleria (on Meridian Ave) in Youngstown OH. Have awesome calzones and pizza rolls. Great prices too. Less than 10 bucks for the large calzones and it's more than enough for one person.
Joe’s in time square best pizza I’ve ever had.
Favorite line about pizza comes from Joe Torre:
"Pizza is like s-e-x. When it's good, it's really good. When it's bad ... it's still pretty good!" 🤣
It is that good. also in Avalon.
If you watch this too long, you almost cant click off of it. Look into my eyes
