Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

What's your favorite non-chain pizza? Obviously Marco's should be EVERYONE'S favorite pizza, but after Marco's what do you like? Is their a place where you live doing it the right way?
I have many favorites in NYC and if you can suffer thru my list (or actually care [doubtful])I'll let you know.
And if you can post photos...all the better

Fellini's is what I always try and hit when in Atlanta.
Plus one for fellinis
Why are you starting this thread right before lunch? I’m now going from hungry to hangry... at least I know what I’m having today, so thanks for solving that dilemma @Kasey
Pizza is always overpriced.
It’s what I’m having for lunch later
Pepe's in New Haven
When it’s great though it’s worth it to me...much like anything I suppose
Frozen pizza: try Sabatasso’s gluten free 4 cheese Pizza from Costco.
I am not sure there is a *great* pizza place in Columbia
Za's and Mellow Mushroom are probably my favorite spots here but not sure how they stack up vs top notch spots
You used two bad words in that post
I love Mellow, sadly I found out 3 years ago that some health issues I was having are because I’m allergic to corn and now I can’t have their pizza. Or a lot of pizza’s really as corn meal is used on the bottom of a lot of pizza dough to prevent it sticking. They have kick ass wings too, and thankfully I can have those.
How is Marco’s? We have one near me here in Gator country.
We dress it up with sliced black olives, grated Parmesan (some), sliced no nitrite pepperoni (if we can find it) or no nitrite salami (looks like pepperoni), some oregano, and a little olive oil. Yummy x 2. Wife adds cooked mushrooms to hers.
Antico is as good as it gets, world class. If you're in Atlanta and you've never been you owe it to yourself to make the effort. I can only vouch for the original location near Georgia Tech, but I believe they've expanded to the Battery (at SunTrust Park) and to Mercedes Benz Stadium.
