You've seen it! Wow, other than my buddy that showed it to me I think your the only other person I know that's actually seen it. It's near impossible to even find anything about it. I did find this clip on youtube of one of the scenes. It gives a feel for what it's like. The story is an accountant visits a failing farm and help them (in an unorthodox manner) to save it. The dialog is incredible.
Yes, I believe the Irishman all the way through was worth the watch for sure. I put it off for a while knowing it was 3 hours long but finally set aside the time and there was no turning it off at that point. Making them digitally younger was pretty incredible to me but the only thing that was hard to get past was when they were supposed to be really young. You really gotta buy in and believe it ha
Let us know how that is. Saw it on Netflix the other night and now the memes are starting. Wondering if it's worth the watch.
Would you recommend Ozark? I remember when it first came out I thought it looked pretty good and had Jason Bateman in it. Just never committed. Heard it compared to Better call Saul (writing wise) just not as much humor
Ozarks - check it out. Don’t know if the new season dropped or not because of tiger king
tiger king - first episode in.... don’t know what to say other than worth watching. Unreal people like this exist
Ozark's new season drops Friday. Can't wait!
Tiger King is a must watch. Absolutely insane. If a gay, gun toting, country singing, oklahoman man with two husbands and 200 tigers that goes to jail over a murder for hire plot involving a big cat animal rights activist doesn't intrigue you then nothing will.
About time
Just watched Nate Bargatze. Really funny. Excellent reco. I'm definitely getting to the other ones.
I second this...Just binged that show the past two days. Extremely entertaining!
Looking forward to new season of Ozark, too.
Old movie but came on the other night...
Big trouble in little China....great movie
This week I finished watching 'Tiger King' on Netflix. I've never seen a bigger band of misfits, rejects, con-artists, drug addicts, sheeps, morons, greedy, cult nuts and generally bad people in all my life.
This story was like Eraserhead on acid.
After hearing and reading so much about this show in the past few days, I am caught between "must watch" and "no thanks." (I would have loved it when I was younger. Eraserhead on acid? Heck yeah!) But these days I tend to look for edification or inspiration. Not sure I'll find either in the land of the Tiger King.
You're absolutely right but by the last episode, I was a pro-Joe Exotic, anti-Carole Baskin fan.🤣
I think you'd be hard pressed to find any positive inspiration from this train wreck.
My comparison to Eraserhead is limited to how the events continue to astound with behaviors so bizarre and evil it's hard for a normal mind to wrap itself around such dysfunction.
In the beginning my severe dislike for Carol Baskin pushed me into the Joe Exotic camp until I said, "What a minute this guy is a manipulative control freak who's flat out crazy and mistreating animals on a grand scale." The funeral of Joe's husband Travis and what transpires afterward made me despise him as much as Carol.
The sooner I can get this travesty out of my head the better. Wish I had never watched it.
If you view Andrew Ray, I am worried if we are forced to be isolated at home for the better part of a year like he has been.
