I'd forgotten about Avatar. Nice !
A dear friend of mine asked her dad, a Kansas farmer "Daddy, what would you do with $10,000"? His reply "I'd farm it until it was gone". She looked at him with a puzzle look and he said, "I know. Life looks complicated if you forget how simple it really is". Hmm.
Surprised I haven't seen Fried Green Tomatoes here.
No judgement here. I too am guilty of love for The Notebook… I like a lot of man movies too though!
I decided to try this one out last night. I like it so far. Thanks!
Hope you enjoy it as much as I did !
You left out incredible sound track. Which seems to be a thing of the past.
I just watched the first episode and I'm definitely going back for more and soon....
Shawshank…
Well Guardians of the Galaxy had a pretty good track..and pretty entertaining movie as well. But they are getting rare .
100%!!!
This reminded me of one funny scene (there have been so very many from Monty Python)... anyway, this one:
word on the street is that her Q is to die for
@ghostofuga1 Or this scene, I still cannot stop laughing at this, and it's been over 40 years!!!
"It's only a scratch...."
Listen Reel life bro, I get where you're coming from and no judgement at all. With that being said I have a skeleton in my closet that I feel needs to be addressed amongst the group. I am confident that I am in DN's tree of trust... here we go
I am the type of guy that has to watch a movie from the beginning to the end no matter if it is good or bad. Way back when..... I was hanging at a friends house (pretty much family and still a good friend to this day) We were bored, just flipping channels in his room and landed on a western. Not a typical western but we decided to continue watching. I dont remember how long into the movie we were, but there came a scene that lets just say caught 2 fellars off guard reeeaaal quick. It just had to be that moment when his grandmother decided to bring in clean clothes only to see us sprawled out on the bed all bugged eyed and that scene going on. No words needed to be said.... it wasnt going to explain anything or get rid of the elephant in the room. Thats when we learned that we were watching broke back mountain.
I'll be honest with y'all.... we shrugged it off and finished the movie. Did we talk about it.....no we didn't, but I think we both would admit that it was actually pretty good. Oh and yes, from time to time our families like to laugh about it.
*disclaimer before I get cancelled or yelled at…. not my thing, but not my business.....and dont care about stuff like that..
Thank you. It’s been a gloomy, rainy day. Tough to get motivated throughout. I’m serious when I say thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for making me laugh out loud! I mean, out loud to the extent that I didn’t see fit to only write lol. And another thing, only a Reel Man can publicly talk about the things we’ve now shared. Salute my friend! 😂
This scene got my brain going. If no one here yet has voted on the The Princess Bride, I’ve only got one word…
INCONCEIVABLE!!
Happy to help and hang in there. When movie discussions start that memory always haunts me and thought I needed it to get it off my chest. It’s a relief now that everything has been laid out on the table
again…we are in the tree of trust. Salute
