Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:

- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Let's try to keep the communist, burning buildings down, etc. off the forum please and thanks.
Huh? What am I not articulating to you specifically?
That’s quite a leap. If anything I would say the nfl made it worse by requiring a player stay in college for minimum three years. Trevor Lawrence would’ve been the number one overall pick after his freshman year. So he’s a case where he was sacrificing money without NIL.
Ummm… see what I mean? You are being silly. 😉
You keep talking about how the sport you love will be forever tarnished and ruined? Because some college kids will be making money off their image? You’re a big doom sayer without actually saying the doom. Just predicting it without articulating it.
Seems to me you are advocating for the complete destruction of college football… but, perhaps, I am wrong. I don’t give a rat’s arse about the NFL, so that colors my view.
just a little offseason fun
I’m just saying, he could’ve. He was that well regarded.
I feel like I explained myself fairly well. What exactly are you trying to say? Other than mocking and insulting posters... which is par the course.
Bottom line is I think college football will lose fans in the coming years. So I'm not in favor of this pandora's box that was forced on the universities.
Too many sensitive snowflakes on this board. Just because I don’t go along with the popular rhetoric of certain posters and say my peace I’m painted as someone awful. Guess we aren’t allowed to disagree with each other here.
My bottom line is the sport is only going to increase in popularity. The NFL is back to what it was and that will have a trickle down effect on college football I believe.
cancel culture is out of control
🤣
You were trying to make a point that unrestrained NIL = Freedom and America = Freedom and all that and any sort of restraint is Communist. That was your point, correct? The fact is ALL business and exchange of goods and services is regulated in this country. Wherever it is not, there is generally exploitation, monopoly and unfair practices.
Maybe they should consider student athletes as school employees instead of just students. As employees it would be up to the school to determine their "worth" in terms of compensation over and above normal scholarship opportunities.
What rule?
85 scholarship limit. 25 yearly new enrollee limit.
