Riley had more to say about the quarterback situation than Smart did, but that should surprise no one. I recall early on how Todd Monkin raved about Daniels being a real student of the game and how he had questions about everything. I don't recall the last time Monkin said anything about Daniels. I suspect the QB choice is much more Kirby's choice than Monkin's.
If that's the case Monkin may be a two and out.
I've got to call B S on Smart's comments. I've given him (not that it means anything) benefit of the doubt all along.
“We have a decision to make every week at every position,” Smart said. “I have the utmost confidence in Stetson Bennett. I thought he did some really nice things tonight. We go over and re-evaluate everything all the time. He played well. I certainly have a lot of confidence in Stetson and I have a lot of confidence in JT (Daniels) too.”
QB problems starting to get to routine, that's on CKS....
Well I'm at the point that I don't care who likes or dislikes what I'm going to say it's just how I feel. I know Stetson is not out best QB same as everyone else does, so for me if it's going to stay this way. Kirby needs to take the mailman and return to sender or he needs to straight up stand up and tell us all the real truth about what's going on !!!!
