Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

I'm assuming that translates to "hats off" since chapeau means hat?
Yes, my lady! Colloquially, it is a reference to the tipping of one's cap in acknowledgment of something well done.
Ok, so I read the entire thing put out by the lawyers for the UGA Athletic Association. Needless to say Alan Judd and his superiors who are accountable for his actions are in big doo doo.
Clearly the facts as presented by lawyers in the rebuttal make it abundantly clear that Mr. Judd and his AJC co-horts are going to need to either put up more facts from their investigation or retract very quickly.
If they are foolish enough to not retract and not provide facts then they may get sued for millions. Millions. It is pretty clear regardless that Mr. Judd has in fact engaged in a deep fantasy of creative writing and alternative facts. For shame Mr. Judd.
I can’t believe you caved…
Heck man, we all eat crow from time to time. Little salt, little pepper, and it goes down fine!
You’ve also made many intelligent and interesting posts. I don’t always agree, but you certainly add elements to many conversations or debates.
CNN was a great source for ‘just the facts’ back in those days—especially the original format of Headline News. My girl friend at the time, Cheryl Case, worked there as a young assistant producer (IIRC).
After Ted sold his empire, things went downhill quickly. Post-Turner CNN seemed to lead the charge in the TV news media transitioning from providing solid information to trying to tell people what to think, political manipulation, gas lighting, outright lying, promoting anti-America viewpoints, and spewing disinformation. 😐
Similarly, the NYT was once a reliable source of detailed information, but now it is an enemy of the truth. These days, truth has few champions in journalism or the ‘news industry’. This is not a phenomenon confined to the US, but has spread across Europe as well.
We’ve been pretty loose on this one. No more politics. Last call.
My favorite Phoebe Buffay moment. She was the best!
I don't always eat Crow, but when I do I like it Blackened.
Well it seems Herbie is upset with us...how can we live with our self's /s.
There is one person and one person only to blame for all of this speeding stuff.
Tracy Chapman.
Only the real ones will understand
I blame Sammy Hagar
Just imagine if Sammy Hagar had all that NIL money to buy a real fast car.
Hmmm… I thought Joe Walsh might be the one to blame. 😉
