I'll say one thing about the Braves moves at the deadline. The guys they picked up were underwhelming. AA is catching some heat for it. But sometimes it doesnt go to chalk.
2021 no one thought picking up Rosario was going to matter much. Then he gets 14 hits in the NLCS and basically wins it for us.

Riley has woke up maybe…2 run homer & Lane Thomas scores his 1st run as a Brave as he was on base by an error.
RomeDawg - he seems to have come out of his coma, at least for tonight. His BA is up to .220 ( I think that is the highest it's been in a long while and his OPS is nearing .700 - again the highest in a good while. Fingers crossed for him. His old self would be a much welcomed addition.
Marlins maybe did us a favor trying that double steal. Guess they were trying to get both runners in scoring position.

Really nice start for Holmes. 6 scoreless innings. Set-up guys did a great job. Iggy did his too frequent (at least for me) flirting with danger (walks/hits) before closing. It bit him some last night, giving up two runs. I get nervous when he enters in a close save situation.

Agree with you and the tightrope that he walks when given the ball, but Iglesias has 24 saves in 26 opportunities this year! He had 29 saves all of last year!

I can handle the nervousness I feel when he enters…as long as he gets the save. I feel sometimes I might have to remove everything but pillows from near the TV.

Amazing how Iggy pitches to the lead…4 run lead, gives up multiple but still closes. 1 or 2 run, he either shuts it down or gives up only 1 if leading by 2.
