ESPN has a headline for the Red Sox winning their 8th straight game.
They have gone 29-3 since July 3rd including a 15 game streak and now another 8. Crazy turnaround after a horrid start (14 games under .500). That's why they are getting all the buzz atm.
Yeah it's pretty unreal. Teams dont get on heaters like this very often.
It's kind of similar to the run the A's got on in 2002. If you have seen Moneyball that is the streak.
They won 20 in a row but what the Sox are doing seems to have exceeded even that.

Yeah had a similar thought. Wont be nearly as easy on the road against a good team. Some losses incoming.
But we are playing well we should be competitive and win our share. 2 out of 3 would be a great result. Getting swept would be the one bad result. Getting just one up there is ok.

Well, the good news is that the magic number is 40 for the Braves to clinch the division…..as in a combined number of Braves wins and Phillies losses which equal 40!!
