Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

it's OU
Gook luck to Raym but... Next man up, SVP?
Double down on SVP and move on to 2021 pups
I cannot embed tweets but it is on his twitter - boomer sooner.
Been my hopes since it sounded like Raym would stay home
Id like to take 4 ol and give Harris a spot. How bout y’all???
Said this same thing a few days ago. Give him a RS yea
Another CB for Milton
I’ve said it before but I’d happily take BJ Ojulari with the extra spot if he was willing to wait.
Also, first time experiencing keyboard lag and it’s brutal.
We needed the IWANTRAYM username to pull this one off...lesson learned.
Interesting comment from Raym regarding his final decision here.
Good luck to Raym. I thought we had this one wrapped up despite the challenge; I was wrong. I wouldn’t expect Raym to decommit or flip going forward. Curious to learn when the change of mind happened.
I’m also interested to see what happens with his vacated spot. The OL probably needs 5 this year, but there’s a lot of talent on the board that has shown interest in UGA. Really think if not OL, DB should be the choice but we’ll see.
Got to hand it to Pittman for keeping this close. Also have to respect the Dawgs for spending the time and resources to recruit a kid like this so hard.
They are showing they are not afraid of the challenges.
It's not so difficult to pull kids from states like California, Texas, Florida and even Georgia. So many great players that it's impossible to keep them all so people are used to them leaving.
But there are certain states, 4 in particular, that are very difficult to pull kids out of (but not impossible).
Because of the size of the state and the success of the program in the state - Oklahoma, Louisiana, Alabama and Ohio are difficult to pull kids out. But not impossible - Kirby and company are not afraid to go into those states and try to pull a Emery, Raym, Webb, Pickens, etc.
They are not just offering a schlorship and see what happens. They are recruiting these kids hard and winning some difficult battles - and the ones they are losing are really close.
This shows the commitment that Georgia has to becoming great. They aren't afraid to go accross the country and recruit the best players in the toughest places to recruit.
Keep it up CKS - we can handle the disappointment of losing some of these battles.
@superblackeagle you got a bunch of down votes but you nailed this one. Good call.
I feel like his family didn’t want the negativity associated with not picking OU. You have to understand it’s not just the immediate family. It’s friends, co-workers, extended family, neighbors, little league coaches, teammates, etc.
That pressure is huge and if this was a neutral fight We get him. The deck was stacked for OU but the just nabbed him.
@Raiderbeater1 of course it was stacked against us. How could it not be. State of 4 mill people with two major universities. One of which is a national power. The pressure is real.
Is it not possible that Raym has dreamt of playing football for the Sooners his entire life. Like thousands of other boys in Oklahoma - the difference being he had the size and ability to realize that dream.
I believe Raym loved UGA and Pittman. But when it got right down to it - how does he go against something he has dreamt about for most of his life.
Can’t believe all this just to make a recommitment video. Must be conflicted, pressured, something. Added together with VanderGriff’s video, comes off somewhat like an OU troll job.
Mannn I had this exact point all lined up and ready to go for tomorrow's Good Day UGA and Tex summed it up in 8 paragraphs. Ya hate to see it.
It's almost like I called this. Almost... 😉
