Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

This is what I've been wondering about for a while. His best reps at the Opening were functioning as a DT... But it seems like between their recent track record on the DL and having his girlfriend enrolled he hasn't really wavered in his commitment thus far.
Am I a bad man hoping for a break up?
I honestly think he’s totally bought in at this point.
Agree that 3-4 DE would be best for Bresee. Similar numbers to JJ Watts. Thought he was all Georgia until Clemson played South Carolina. I don’t know how that game convinced him to Commit to Clemson.
Breese is a DT. The 3-4 or 4-3 wouldn't make any difference to him at all.
Don't really believe it should be a difference for Burch or Murphy - but certainly less so for Breese.
One advantage players may see in the Venable system vs the Smart system is that starters will probably get many more snaps with Venable than they will with Kirby.
Venable will certainly sub his d-line but no where near what Kirby does.
And yes, Breese will definitely sign with Clemson.
Tex, I’m sure Kirby will always sub, but I do wonder if we had more dominant starters, if we’d leave them in longer. I feel like if you have a bunch of B- to B+ players, it makes sense to keep them all fresh, but if you have some A’s in there, you might not as much. We subbed at ILB a lot last year, but Roquan never left the field.
@umooner it may change it some - but Kirby believes in matching personnel and he is going to sub a lot.
His Mike LB is different - and you are right - if he has someone that can play the Roquan Smith, Reuben Foster, C J Mosley or Rolondo McClain role - they won't leave the field very often.
Clemson is a force and they will win many recruiting battles - especially at D-line.
Has more to do with success than it does type of defense.
We have to accept some realities. Clemson isn't going anywhere. Bama isn't going anywhere. But neither is Georgia.
Everyone is so concerned that it is hurting Georgia - Georgia will be just fine and they'll get their share.
It's Florida, FSU, Tennessee, Auburn, Miami, etc that this top heavy recruiting is really going to hurt.
Cough, cough... Nakobe... cough, cough
I would add OSU as a potential "hurt" program as the rise of Clemson to another level coupled with the change in staff just needs some poor season(ing) and their goose could be cooked for a few years.
Maybe @Denmen185. But OSU still has a different geographical pull than the other three big boys. But there is no doubt that their SE recruiting isn't as good as it was a few years ago.
Yes @GrayDawg . I believe it is very likely that it is Dean. Depends on how quick he picks up the play book. It's not easy but I know that McClain succeeded as a freshman and I believe Mosley did as well. It's not unprecedented in this system but the system has changed a little since those two played.
This weekend really DOES need to be a big weekend. Too long since a commit and too much noise in the fan system. The natives(myself included) are getting restless. Sure as hell hope Milton hasn't been trolling us as we aren't gonna find out about Ringo for awhile.
As mush as dislike counting on freshmen. As smart as Dean is and as a early enrollee, I think he has a chance for significant playing time by the Tennessee game.
