Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

... from Billy Bob Thornton allegedly being processed by Angelina Jolie when Brad Pitt entered the "à trois" . BBT refutes that in his book: The Billy Bob Tapes: A Cave Full of Ghosts. Used on TOS.
I don't think Gilbert has a problem blocking, I think he has a problem getting on 1 or 2 looks a game. I think if he could get maybe 50 catches a season he wouldn't mind being a blocker.
Did you call me?
Wouldn’t be a good fit then. There isn’t room for players “who wouldn’t mind doing something”. Only those willing to do what it takes to be a small part of a larger success will have a spot going forward.
I have to agree with it not being a good fit. I would love to have Gilbert and I would also loved for us to throw more. But if we are committed to being run first I think Gibert should go somewhere that fits his playing style.
As in, "Oliver Cromwell processed a number of men who did not want to be on his team.". Processing in the old days was a bit harsh.
All news about processing recruits must be reported by this user
you really started a new alter, just to respond w/ this? 😒
How would it work if someone were “processed”? If we’re totally full with no spots left and the second coming of Hershel wants a spot, how do you tell a commit that you’re yanking his scholarship to give to someone better? Seems like once you offer it’s accepted, then you should honor it. Is that not the case? Serious question. How’s that even work?
I think until they sign financial paperwork or a national letter of intent the school isn’t obligated to hold the spot and can tell you they won’t accept your commitment. Of course it’ll lead to some pretty bad optics but Bama did it a few years ago if I remember right and the kid filmed his commitment video in France or something like that. I think he ended up grayshirting? If I can find the story I’ll share it.
Royal Proclamation - Herein it will be referred to as Yaleing. 😂
Kirby just dropped a go dawgs on Twitter. I assume that’s for the 2021 cb/safety that committed today.
Peep who likes this 👀👀👀
Gilbert not quite out of it?
Guys, I am watching the Corky Kell Classic - Marietta vs Rome and Arik Gilbert is EATING - he’s sooooo impressive and he looks like a transformer. He is 9 catches for 205yds and at least 2 TD.
If he wants to play receiver, let him. He can be a move TE like Mike Gesicki(Penn State)
Straight Freak.
A good recruiter never closes a door when he doesn't have to. Even if our current TE class is supposedly locked up; you never know what the future holds.
It's usually phrased as the team isn't going to pull the scholly offer, because that would be bad and leads to recruits not wanting to commit to you in the future. What happens is they show the kid the depth chart, infer that it's going to be very tough for the kid to see the field here, and encourage him to look around.
One thing our staff also seems to do is they help the kid land at another good school in order to ease the hard feelings.
Think about it like this:
if you are dating a girl and you talk all of the time, everything may seem great.
but, at some point she doesn’t call or answer when you call very often.
You start hearing that she’s on dates with other guys or talking to them way more often.
You get the hint or “flip” to another option.
This is how most commits would be “processed”
