Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Hey mods, didn't know if I was supposed to start a new thread for Kimber alone or not. Merge it if you must.
Nothing wrong with a dedicated thread to the one player who just committed.
I think it's good news, 247 is a lot higher on Kikber than the other sites (#108 overall) and I heard he put up some eye popping numbers at recent camps
It seems odd we might land 2 elite TE prospects. I'll be happy to have both Arik and Washington but we'll need to justify it by getting the **** ball to them.
Kimber , Ringo , and who’s the last dB??
@tiger_62082 That is GREAT NEWS!!! Keep 'em coming!!!!
Thank you, sir
Cannot emphasize enough how BIG it is that Akinola Ogbuniyi and Justin Rogers didn't come out of their important visits to Oklahoma and Tennessee respectively publicly committed. Not saying they won't announce for those schools soon or it's impossible that they're silent commitments (though I'm not a fan of the latter) but the fact that they're still in play as of right now is HYUGE for the Dawgs.

Give me Pouncey here with Ringo and Kimber
That'd be an amazing haul; a No Fly Zone
2 things just to ensure the board is on the same page here and before more inaccurate information gets thrown around.
Akinola is a target that did not get to meet with Kirby while he was on campus. Kirby was present and didn’t meet with him. He remains a target for Pittman but there are several others in play here.
Rodgers is only a target if he wants to play OG/OL. It’s certainly not true that Kirby is fighting over his spots. Think about that...Kirby is fighting with an assistant staffer to determine where this kid will play. If Kirby wanted it, he’d get it. There’s also evidence from paid insiders confirming we’re not chasing Rodgers as hard as others (both Kipp and Rusty from 247 and our own @JeffSentell
I’d be happy to share all of those posts if needed as they were sent to me yesterday by other board members. As I said previously, Pittman remains in contact with Rodgers to keep irons warm. Should Rodgers elect to go back to being all in at OG his recruitment could quickly skyrocket back to what it was Nov.-Dec 2018. Nothing more to see here despite these posts.
I may not be the resident expert but I strongly disagree with just about everything here. I've seen things from other experts - including very recently - that indicate otherwise as well. (I've been told that Akinola & SVP are at the top of Pitt's list for interior linemen with a plan in place to take a full class. Also Rogers' decisively dominant performance at an elite camp as a NG turned heads and opened eyes. If he stays healthy, Justin will be a major pocket collapser on the next level). Not going to get into a d i c k measuring contest but will just let it all play out. After all, recruiting is very fluid.
I know you’re on 247. Did you Kipp and Rusty’s posts about him yesterday? (They were in kind of a random thread.)
