Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

usually have 0 inside information but I'm fairly knowledgeable on Whitehead as my high school was in the same small division. Seemed like an okay guy when I met him and he is a good athlete, but he's not close to Georgia's level. Struggled against my high school football team, who only sent 3 kids out of 20 seniors to college ball, all D-3 scholarships
Don't demean your input, that is solid information you dropped. It adds further context to what @SoFL_Dawg stated a bit ago. Football under the whistle is far more important than football drills in shorts.
D-3 has scholarships?
D3 does not give athletic schlorships.
But if a D3 school really wants a kid then the kid won't pay anything or won'tpay much. D3 schools have a lot of money to give in the form of grants and many types of schlorships.
And D3 schools are many times small and very expensive schools.
This is an incredible quote. I tried to search for it, but couldn't find an article or mention. Could you provide any more context, or help?
Feels like we’ve been saying that for 3 years......commit!!!
Well i think we told him to hold off earlier this summer
It's more about him than it is about us. He'll commit when he's ready. Heck - still over 4 months until NSD.
Fast rising 3-Star QB out of Hawaii De Laura picked up his first P5 offer yesterday
same HS as Tua
When do we get back on the recruiting horse? I need some action.
thank you for that clarification, you are correct. I didn't know the football players who went to play college ball well enough to get an exact explanation of what they were getting, scholarship was more of a general term
In reality. D3 schools usually have more money to offer than D2 schools have.
Agree here, i went D2 and got a partial scholarship and paid for the rest, while my buddy (who was a better player, and turns out smarter business man right out of high school) went D3 and didn't pay a dime for college.
It has been a long, long time. Back in the days when sports was reported only on paper...😂
Jayden de Laura just committed to Washington State.
