The 1980s remington 1100s are great, but remington isnt what it used to be. There arent many shotguns I havent shot and the new beretta a400s are amazing
Pocket knife crazy up in here
Razor knife clipped in my front pocket at all times. Concealed carry permit and one of my dogs in the truck always. I'm not the one, feel me?
Am I trippin or does this Discussion already have over 17.2K views?
Well if you actually walked in to the IRS with a knife in your hand then I’d imagine they were a bit worried.
Can you imagine?
Sold my 1100’s long ago because they are not fun to carry in the field, and that blasted gas port gets clogged way too easily. I have one Remington in the safe - an 11-48 in .410. Hard to find adult sized .410’s. I also have a Hunter Arms sxs .410 produced for Sears as a Ranger Precision Grade that has a 14.25 lop. My nephew asked about buying it for his girls so he could cut the stock down. I was like, “Are you outta your mind?” It’s only one of 224 ever produced and he wants to cut the stock.
Sorry, I couldn't resist.
My pocketknife:
I don't want to highjack the thread but maybe someone here may know the answer. I carry a Benchmade now but for my high school graduation, my dad bought me a Buck knife and I believe it was a Squire. It had the rosewood handle with nickel looking ends. What was unique about this knife is that the on the spine where the locking mechanism is, the outer metal pieces had a zigzag design almost like teeth with the straight locking mechanism in the middle. Of course, I lost this knife several years later and cannot find another one. Anyone ever seen one like this??
Not sure if this helps, but the Buck Squire 501 did come with what was called a "fileworked" blade as pictured below. I would guess it came in different handle models. They seem to be pretty rare and sell for a pretty penny if you can find one.
Might you be referring to the 556 Open Season Skinner

No, the actual design is in the spine of the handle and not the blade.
Gotcha.
Any chance it was custom? This Case was by a fellow out of Kentucky?
No, it was a Buck knife. We purchased it from a Remington back in 1991.
Possibly a Buck 531 Bucklock?
The back looks the same as the first pic with the lock in the center. Here's a link to one on eBay that has some better pics.
