- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Hopefully in his one year he’ll teach the others how to make smart, clean passes.
Now, a little bit of back to reality, this is a big pick up but for me there are still two big questions that really could separate next season from being pretty good to it being like cases like Ben Simmons/Fultz. Those two questions are:
If both are answered well, then I can see a top 25 team.
what about adding 2019 4 star guard Lester Quinones?
**looks up high school stats**
If he comes then maybe.
It is not just about Ant Man- he is well connected in the ATL AAU circuit and will bring others with him that are not yet committed are not necessarily one and done candidates.
I'm not exaggerating when I say this. I'm being serious. Anthony Edwards could be the guy who saves basketball in the state of Georgia, not only for the DAWGS, but for the HAWKS too. He could be the next Dominique Wilkins. 6'5, 215 lbs from Atlanta, GA. #2 overall prospect in the 2019 class, and he's the highest rated ever recruit in UGA basketball history. Tom Crean is in year 1, and year 1 is ALWAYS rough for coaches, even the majority of dynasty coaches had their worst seasons in year 1. Mark Fox put UGA into a hellhole. Yante Maten was the SEC player of the year and it's rare for an SEC player of the year to miss the tournament, that hadn't happened in years before UGA last season, because of how awful UGA's talent is. Anthony Edwards could change our program forever in year 2 for Tom Crean. Now if Anthony Edwards can help us get some more quality recruits around him coming into 2019-2020, because he can't do it all alone. UGA basketball has the longest NCAA tournament win drought out of all 14 SEC schools, haven't had a real win since our 1996 sweet sixteen run.
One and done type of player
Yep and we will take it
We won't be ready to contend for an SEC title next season, regardless of who we sign.
I'm thrilled we landed Edwards, assuming he signs, but his legacy will be as a draw for other elite recruits, unless he stays more than one season that is.
Just get me in the tournament.
this team will do more than get you in the tournament
If they can snag an experienced point guard to go with Edwards, this will be a top 10-15 team. But I think without a point guard, they may be an 8-9 seed in the tournament.
Look at what Bone did with the Vols this season and what Waters did with LSU.
Bama went and got Shackelford for the 2019 class, who I am super high on, he's Justin Robinson like.
Watch out for bama next year. Everyone talks Kentucky, Tennessee and Auburn, LSU but Bama will be up there too.
A good Starting PG, can be the difference between a top 15 team and a top 40 team.
If the team this year had a better ball handler it would have been worth 4 -6 wins imo. I love Claxton's game, but him handling the ball in the final seconds outside the arc has been trouble every time.
i’m sold on Tyson Jolly or a grad transfer PG.
Results aren't there outside the Florida win but since Crean seemingly threw most of the team under the bus, it's coming around. If it weren't for Nic Claxton, Jordan Harris would have made the biggest strides. If Georgia can add a good grad transfer PG or Tyson Jolly, I REALLY like the way this looks:
grand transfer or Jolly/Edwards/Walton/Hammonds/Claxton
Crump/Harris (could also be a 3/D starter instead of Walton)/Camara/Ngumezi? (he actually might transfer because his attitude frustrates people)
However, there's more questions to go and at least 2 or even 3 grad transfers could be needed, depending on if Ngumezi stays or not. Gonna need at least 1 post for depth purposes and COULD possibly use another shooter. I REALLY like Claxton's NBA prospects, but he's still raw and has more to work on, so hopefully he stays for a 3rd year.
