Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

My favorite in Savannah is a place called Screamin' Mimi's which is a jersey style pizza place. Vinny Van GoGo is the most popular in Savannah, but I have often found that the most publicized restaurant is good... but not the best

^^^ google link with plenty of pics of the place
pizza is also a comfort food for me, and the more toppings the better. Except for pineapple, pineapple does not go on pizza
The local joint named Mollie pozzo’s is really good if your thing is pepperoni pizza. I liked the ole pep pizza but and every now and then I want a meat pizza. Theirs was disgusting.
Oh White House pizza and pup is good, but overpriced and their parking is rough.
I often will hit the local Italian joint named dominos
Rotolo’s. Their Angry Pig pizza is pretty amazing.
Little Italy on Lumpkin Street and the pizza I make from scratch in my own kitchen.
Pizza party at @allyw's house, first weekend after we win the natty. Save the date!
Hardware Pizza - Lyons, GA & Baxley, GA - Get the 6” pizza & a dozen wings.
Roma’s Pizza - Augusta, Ga - get the favorite pepperoni.
Pizzalley's on St. George St in St. Augustine, FL
Marco's>>>
but for real a place that is a bit of a secret that I like that is around the southeast is Papa's Pizza To Go, which is in mostly small towns. I actually like it more than Marco's.
I second Roma's in Augusta
Slabtown in Cashiers NC
NY Style Pizza in Hilton Head SC
I'm a Barnaby's man in Tallahassee, myself. They're a family-owned place that's been in business since 1970. Word is, one of their employees took their recipe and opened Momo's.
There's another great non-chain place in Thomasville called Moonspin Pizza. They are awesome.
Buffalo Chicken at Mellow Mushroom!!
Mama's Too is a block away from Mama's and is owned by the nephew, Frank. Great guy, and great pizza. His is a little more upscale with the ingredients but is definitely worth it! THIS PLACE STAYS PACKED! Always a good sign.
Uncle Paul's on 45th and Vanderbilt is pretty good for the area. (Manhattan)
Pizza Daddy in Bensonhurst, BK is worth the trip.
@Kasey we should meet up soon...hows Lion's Head sound?
IMO...Frank Pepe's is the best, and I've been to many of the storied pizza restaurants in NYC and Chicago.
Here in Texas, Campisi's in Dallas is the best I've experienced; not real fired up about my options in Austin.
So seriously - is Marco’s pizza really any good? There’s one down the road but Ive never tried it.
My favorite is a frozen thin crust BBQ chicken pizza from Publix made by California Pizza Kitchen. Fresh from the oven makes a great late snack; not too heavy to go to bed on.
It's aight. If I'm eating pizza from a national chain it's Dominos all day long.
