Empanadas recipes were presented in cookbooks in 1520 and certainly existed well before that day. The word comes from the Portuguese for "wrap in bread". They typically contain fruit of some kind but also can have meat/fish as a filling. Try some today. Here is a link to some recipes for those of you with cullinary inclinations:
It's also National It's All Ours Day - a chance to celebrate all we have, especially the natural beauty of the world. Always nice to be out in nature and appreciate it's beauty...especially if youi pack some empanadas for your trip into nature.

Interesting... I have never heard of or had a empanada. Doesn’t sound bad
"Empanadas and more" is a little restaurant in a **** mall here in Valdosta. Great food and it's always packed to the gills at lunchtime. On Saturdays they cook cuban sandwiches, that my fiance's family (from Tampa) are the best they've ever had.
OMG st rip mall. Don't ban me.
keeping a close eye on you!!
The Tsunami restaurant on 316 has really good empanadas.
Wait hold up... did you really just refer to a mall as being a stripper? Bro check yo self haha.
My mother made fried apple pies that looked just like them things, they was real tasty.
I think they are first cousins.
I'm using this day to say this season is "All Ours". National Champs. GATA. I gots some folks I want to be able to pass by and not say a word. But they'll be able to feel the "take that" waves beaming around me. Thinking of a few **** fans for sure
*Never underestimate the power of the silent treatment
