- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Knowing that we've really drifted off topic, but with little to no complaints, does anyone know what the second leading cause of lung cancer is?
@Bankwalker can you taste the turmeric in a smoothie or no?
Radon
Winner winner chicken dinner!! Being a home inspector and certified radon tester, it was interesting to find this fact out during my courses....
Not @Bankwalker , but the powdered turmeric has sort of a bland, non spicy taste. Much like taking a drop of olive oil and placing it on your tongue. By no means do I know smoothies, but it seems that the taste would be subtle depending of what else you are adding......
yeah we lived at the bottom of a ridge in Portland Oregon that was some kind of radon sink. We had a contraption to cycle air out of the basement and keep it from accumulating. Also had a home inspector buddy. When he knew I was going to move he inspected my home as a favor and dry run. Helped me know what to expect and fix things before hand.
@Kasey Depends on the quantity and what you mix it with, of course. I don’t find tumeric root to be that distasteful. You would only use raw root in a smoothie.
Well she's right.only at UGA does our players get ratted on by the dorm manager.only at UGA does the police target our players on a regular basis. And maybe these players who's bodies are beat up want to smoke bc it's helps with pain.instead of taking all those pills thats killing their bodies slowly.its time to legalize it and ban alcohol
We don't know whether it causes cancer or not. If it isn't sprayed with a lot of chemicals, maybe not. If it is, probably so, just like what happened with tobacco. Before chemicals were sprayed on it, did it?
Legalize and tax. Alcohol won't be banned for that reason....it makes too much money for the Gov.
Speaking of young ones and alcohol, during WW II my Mom was on the high school rifle team. I am thinking it was a popular sport. They made States and being the first time away from home the boys part of the team snuck out the night before and got drunk.
They next day the boys part of the team shot like carp. My Mom's team only got third in State and she was mad. Boys will be boys.
Should've shot them
