Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

He is heading to Florida this weekend per his twitter. Maybe an in person decommitment ?? Hahaha, doubtful but one can hope.
They got that bbq shindig right? So boring last year recruits were throwing up the U in attendance. Clown shows invite clownish behavior.
Not sure what they are doing to be honest. I just hope that any big time (which will be slim pickings I suspect) recruits that are there asking some hard hitting questions about that toxic culture.
You’re one of the best at reading the tea leaves brother, I’ll give you that for sure.
Think he means 4 but who knows. Maybe he announces on Sunday instead.
What I’m hearing here is that Dexter’s mom wants to be able to see all his home games. Gainesville fits the bill. At this point he’s “the” guy in their class too. If recent trends hold, he’ll keep that top spot for them as they are recruiting at horrendous level (for them) right now. I do think Dexter is a player that wants/likes that notoriety in his class. If he joins the winning side, he’d be 10-15 on board based on player rankings.
Baller though but we got some size coming there. We need space eaters.
While on campus, “you sure I can’t play dT for uga ?” .... “Nope” .... “ok, UK it is”
This:
Followed by this:
Not sure this kid is thinking straight. 100% his choice, I’m not poo pooing that. All of these elite coaches think he’s a guard. Only reason UK is in it because they’re telling him what he wants to hear. Maybe he has an epiphany while on campus, commits to playing OG only, and Pittman welcomes him.
Pittman very high on Van Pran though...
Yeah, I've heard Rogers isn't even the top OG on the board. He likes Van Pran better and has no problem going w/ more OT prospects (Braun) that could easily move inside.
What's the issue with Van Pran and LSU?
I literally just started fist pumping at my desk. Almost knocked my coffee onto my keyboard
Yes I’ve heard similar things. First it’s important to note that staff is prepping to lose 4 OL. They feel confident in losing both tackles and they’re prepping to lose Kindley and Cleveland as well. The thought is first 3 rounds of draft could have 4 Dawgs go on OL. Not talking probable, talking possible here.
So as I understand it from my source...
Jones, Paris, Ratledge are the top OT targets. Jones and Paris are EE, so if both choose the Dawgs, they’d have an advantage similar Hill/Mays had over Salyer vs. Ratledge. Ratledge is considered a swing player (Mays type) that could easily plug and play inside and outside (first off bench type). I think Jones and Paris would be looked at as bookend tackles, tbd on the field. Side note, lots of folks looking past Truss at RT here and that is a mistake. Hearing staff is very high on his dedication and he’s already transformed his body, without Sinclair’s magic touch. That’s a big boy too.
Raym is top prospect inside but also being recruited as swing player (OU likely choice here). AO is strictly interior guy and fits the road grader role that Kindley has represented. Van Pran is the future C, versatile interior guy. Rodgers is a road grader inside but AO is already committed, (without the fun recruitment) so we’ll have to see.
Braun is a being recruited as swing but projects to inside here, similar to Cleveland. There are other names out there but I believe the 1-2 remaining spots are filled by names listed here with the ideal haul being:
This perfectly replaces who we expect to lose while getting the future C in tow with a year + to learn system and calls. It should be added that Webb is progressing but looks like a freshman (as he should). He’s getting looks at both C/G but will likely be a LG when his number is called.
I’m not aware of a issue.
LSU losing local recruits is happening a little more often than it used to - but it's still a hard pull.
Didn't know if Pittman is just this good or if LSU wasn't showing much love.
Passing on a top notch local school with a probable quicker time to see the field just raises eyebrows.
