Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

First post about UGA in a while... interesting timing given Lloyd’s commitment, Evans dropping top 5, and OSU’s confidence in landing Milton ATM. Seems like we are realistically only gonna get Evans OR Milton then Tank OR Lloyd (won’t give up on him being in this class until he signs/Milton & Evans #CommitToTheG)
If milton to osu were a done deal than imo we'd have lloyd rn. I think we are in it for two 5 stars rn
If true you are correct. It could be that Tank is marketing himself by suggesting that be the case.
Honestly some guys find the rockier “road less traveled” more attractive. It makes him the man from day one.
here’s my latest article
solid stuff
looks like a UGA edit that they sent to him. could be wrong, but its all the fonts that they normally use for anything on the official accounts and They probably just sent this to him after the Lloyd news
No love to Bijan Robinson from the staff 🤔🤔
On RBs...staff is looking for the thunder/lightning combo; that’s not earth shattering, but hopefully it will help frame thoughts.
Lightning backs (names heard recently):
I’m not anti Bigsby being in class. I am trying to temper expectations to avoid disappointment and panic if he doesn’t choose us (because maybe he’s not being chosen). There are several names as you can see above; read between the lines here. As long as staff feels confident, chances of UGA and Tank are slim.
I’m not sure you can call Holyfield great, although I certainly enjoyed watching him play, but you’ve got to partner Swift up with someone.
Oh, there’s love.
You saying thunder is already in the bag?
Lol, I’m saying he doesn’t fit Thunder category. It’s unlikely we see 2 lightning category backs, same class together. Zeus is gone after next year. Kenny is a thunder back, and they’ll want more depth there and feel confident in the number 1 thunder target, Milton.
Lightning backs are traditionally the play makers. Tank ran a 4.5 40 and opened eyes. The challenge is, that explosiveness doesn’t jump out on film. Just being objective here and relaying what’s being said. To reiterate, watch tape of those 5 guys in order. If anyone still feels like staff shouldn’t hold out for the top name first, and that Tank should be in front of the others listed there, so be it. Again, I’m not anti Tank. I get he’s a GA kid. I see a let down and panic brewing here and trying to temper it.
Great article "Specs"
Spot on. Witness Holyfield started most games and had the first few carries then in comes Swift!
Based on 247 listings and reported speeds (not all have) id think the list could look like:
Lightning backs:
Thunder backs:
I put Tank BJ in Thunder due to i think they are lean for 6’0 and have frames that could add. (KMac doesnt make Thunder as much of a priority in this class)
Give me 2 of the top 5-6 combining both categories and id be good with the class.
Was told staff defines that Thunder back as 220+. Based on that, completely changes your list.
If 220 is the line, looks like only one in this class, Milton, fits the bill. (KMac checked in at 218 on 247 so he might not be one either, haha).
Id suspect the 220 is what the staff can project on a kid once in a college program without it effecting his abilities (KMac, Zeus who only a mere 210 on 247). So yes my list could and probably is off but not necessarily completely.
(Swift was listed 222 but is considered a “lightning” back. Holyfield, opposite, was listed at 207 but def not a “lightning back”)
Correct who they think will easily carry 220+ and not lose explosiveness. Milton, McGowan, & Lee are the top targets there as I understand it.
Milton has been and continues to be the #1 overall target.
They also expect K-Mac to play at 230-240.
