Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Picking the offer you have over the offer you 99% don't is not that hard!
Jalen Carter announced Final 3
Bama - "They've been winning forever"
Clemson- "Because they won a NC"
UGA - "Atmosphere and people make it special"
That should say something about the school and definetly the CTS staying in it. Although Clemson probably is out now
Good stuff, have a feeling he is leaning Dawgs ....

Happy Monday-
Couple of tidbits coming in from the weekend.
Seth McGowan (RB)- was on an OV. I’m told Dell really likes him. If he wants to commit today, he can. He’s been trending to OU but he and his family enjoyed their time in Athens. Obviously if he commits, that’s one spot off the board.
Rodgers-Pittman has moved on. Rodgers was being shown defensive schemes this weekend by CTS. We do not expect him in this class or to choose the Dawgs today.
DL-lots of moving pieces but we will be fine and I stand by this being the best haul yet. Things went very well with Cowan. Burch was seen enjoying himself and got 1.5 hrs personal time with Kirby. Look for names like Carter, Cowan, Smith, Burch, Walker, & Burroughs to complete class. Will be at least 5, maybe all 6.
Paris-staff is not expecting him to be in class. Van Pran, Braun and others have moved up. This one is likely over.
Milton-staff believes we trail osu. Also could be the reason McGowan can commit today. This one will go into the season, ND OV. Staff has concerns with the 4.7 speed here.
Ringo-Dawg.
All I got, it’s news. Maybe not the best but it’s news.
Prob just using an OV (like Rogers did) but never hurts. As been said, Dexter likes being the crown jewel in his current classes school and family wants him to stay home.
“Oklahoma, Florida, Georgia, and Texas A&M for right now,” Dexter told 247sportsof upcoming official visits. “It’s just the defensive lines that they produce.”
Good stuff SoFL.
Nothing in there really surprises me. I think a lot of that info lines up with what has been posted here. The McGowan part is a little surprising, but not really. I had been wondering about Milton's athleticism after I saw his SPARK score.
The Paris recruitment has always felt a little like KJ Henry in that he was interested enough to get your hopes up, but realistically you knew he'd end up elsewhere.
Doing the Dawgs work here.
Its been said, don't tweet recruits but a commitments sister gets a pass i think.
Yeah it’s not over with Milton just to reiterate. We had a window with Paris, couldn’t get entire family behind us. They wanted him at osu and have helped strengthen relationships with new staff there. Local support matters.
Its probably time to put this out there. I wouldn’t expect to see more than three 5 star RBs by class end. Evans and Mccellan based on numbers will be two. Lloyd has already dropped despite regional opening performance. That 4.7 from Milton will be difficult to stay a 5 star and he’s dropped too. The opening final will go a long way to determining that. What I’m saying is even if we gain both 5 star RBs today, there’s a good chance they’ll be 4 star RBs by end of rankings. Lloyd is a problem and that 4.52 at his size/power is just what we need. He’d be my pick to remain a five star based on testing #s.
Lloyds testing #'s just prove our how money our staff is on evals. I remember someone claiming he was the #1 RB on the board back in January IIRC
i think if Lloyd holds out on a commitment he’ll stay a 5 star, possibly finish #2 RB in class
This guy is all Bulldog. The only team that had a chance was Clemson.
The Tigers were like Koepka with his girl prior to the PGA when it really mattered.
Any update on tight ends? Hopefully we get Gilbert and one of Theo and Darnell
i didn’t ask for this go around. I don’t think there’s anything to worry about. I’ve read that Johnson and Washington are equal but I’ve only heard Gilbert and Washington so far.
@SoFL_Dawg I got to admit, the news on Milton is disappointing.
Even though everybody tells me to give up hope, for some reason I still think we can pry Evans away from Texas.
I love recruiting but I am an impatient man by nature. All this suspense is killing me. I know yall said enjoy the ride but I just wish someone would commit since this was such a big weekend. Thanks for all y'alls hard work. I really enjoy the information.
