Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Fair point. Completely caught off guard on this one.
Not mad about it just surprised. Also seems like the odd choice of his finalists
Not a huge surprise. Kid hadn’t visited in a while. What do they say?
Really? Really?
Happy Memorial Day! Let's keep the main thing the main thing. 🇺🇲
Simple thoughts here: See Devonte Wyatt. See DJ Daniel. See Warren McClendon.
The track record is there with the last few H-2-H battles with UGA.
But Lloyd just might be a different kid in terms of that stuff. Bryan McClendon and Thomas Brown do know how to recruit, too.
What happened to Justin Rogers man? I thought Kirby and Pitt were fighting over him. I guess he just likes UK more ....
Evans probably isn't leaving Texas, so yeah...what's up with RB recruiting? I was going to be patient until this...but now the best case seems like Milton/Bigsby.
Dude, stop with the insults. This is the second time this weekend I’ve seen you insulting other people and there’s just no reason for it. This is a pretty cordial place, especially this thread, so don’t ruin it.
Obviously, shocking. The question in my mind then is where are we with Tank Bigsby? I thought I read he was an SC lean previously.
With McGowan likely heading to Oklahoma and Milton a toss up, we might be in plan-B territory.
I was gonna ask this too. Can’t see Bigsby going to the chickens with Lloyd onboard. Maybe this puts us back in the drivers seat for him? Doesn’t seem like he’s super high on our board based on what I’ve read in here, but a GA boy and with Lloyd off the table maybe he’s a guy to start really going after. Along with Milton obviously.
He’s still a top 50 overall player so he’s not chicken feed (pun intended).
Our margin of error just got smaller but I’d have no problems if we ended up with a combo of Bigsby and Milton.
I don't get what is so shocking. A kid from Maryland didn't pick the Dawgs. Wow.
Sometimes on this board we think Georgia is the greatest thing around - why would a kid choose anywhere else. We sometimes seem entitled.
Yes Georgia is great - yes Georgia produces great running backs - but other schools do as well. And other schools have great things to offer.
Maybe we get Milton, maybe we get Evans - who knows. They are in Cali and Texas so the odds aren't great - possible yes - but not necessarily likely.
I've been dealing with 15-18 year olds for 30 years. One thing is for sure - you never really know what they will do or what they are thinking. Most of you have raised teenage kids - you rarely knew what they were thinking.
To me - the big loss would be Tank Bigsby. He's a Georgia boy and a heck of a back. Will he be as good as Evans, Lloyd, Milton or McGowen - who knows. But he'll probably be a good back. No one really knows if those other backs will be good. We assume they will - but who knows. And I don't care if you have evaluated film and think you know - all anyone on here has seen is highlight tape - everyone looks good on highlight tape. You need to have full game film and have knowledge of what a certain play was to truly evaluate kids.
The reality is we fall in love with certain players on this forum thinking he's a must get - but their not. Kids are rarely must gets.
And don't blame Dell if he loses on kids from California, Texas or Maryland - recruiting ain't easy. Dell is a great recruiter. But most schools have great recruiters.
Georgia will end up with a couple of good backs and a great recruiting class. It's really no big deal.
Finally - if a kid is a so called silent commit - he'll commit within a week or two from giving silent - just getting ducks in a row. Longer than that he isn't a silent. Maybe he still chooses the Dawgs - but if it isn't announced - it isn't a commitment.
Go Dawgs
Too early to worry IMHO
Lots of big names uncommitted and a very deep class - unlike last cycle
Flips could definitely happen
Surprised and screwed are two different things. I have no doubt we'll get two excellent running backs. However, in the interest of improving our odds, I think it's IwantKendall time.
