Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

I was thinking the same thing about the connection between Smith and Boiling. I think it is as much about track as it is football.
To get back to the purpose of the forum that we know and love, and to have a little fun with it.
Next to Commit 2020 (in Order):
1.) Milton 7/29
2.) A. Smith 7/29
3.) SVP 8/2
4,) Tank Bigsby Sometime in the week of 8/19
That would be a HUGE 30 days with 5.) Gilbert and 6.) Washington late September, early October. 7.) Noah Sewell and 8.) Burch in Middle October with 9.) Dexter early November after another beating in Jacksonville (where I live).
10.) Ringo will be the massive cherry on top in January with 11.) Tae Williams sometime in January/February for the flip.
How is that for a BOLD Prediction?
@bmitcham89 THAT sir, just sounds like a TOTAL DREAM!!!! GO DAWGS!!!!
Thank you SoFl, CZ and All
I don’t do social media. Period. But I registered for this forum and turned off my “Cookie Blocker” so I could read the “ Next to Commit to the G” and related threads. 👍 Keep up the great stuff.
And here I was thinking people came to the board for my countdown posts. Boy do I feel foolish.
In seriousness, I latched onto this forum in January or February 2018. I read this site more than anything other social media in large part to our VIP contributors, and we should feel lucky to be a part of it. Free recruiting info doesn't grow on trees, after all.
@JeffSentell Thank you so very much for the reality check as a reminder. Trying to "raise mine right" way out here on the Left Coast, while I am personally missing Georgia badly. I have to hit the brakes myself during the game(s) each week, and then use that opportunity to teach my little folks to really enjoy the moment as they happen. So incredibly happy that I have now lived long enough to see all of this, regardless of how it all plays out. My late father John Pryor (especially) played such a HUGE role in my early years of loving all things Georgia. I hope that my Daddy is somewhere nearby DGD Larry Munson, and getting the BEST view of all of this "slice of Heaven" that we are enjoying down here!!! GO DAWGS!!!!
@mantis_toboggan69 when it comes to @SoFL_Dawg @JeffSentell , and @CZCashvilleDawg , @texdawg , @bmauldin, and a LOT of others in here??? WE ALL DO!!!! GO DAWGS!!!!
@SoFL_Dawg take all the time you want, you don't owe us a thing and anyone who doesn't appreciate all the time and effort you put in to bring us top-notch (and free!) information isn't worth a wet fart.
This is an awesome forum mainly due to posters like you and others. Many thanks to @JeffSentell for putting it together.
I dont think Ringo last that long, I believe he will be committed soon to help with the class
@SoFl_Dawg has the power folks. Prediction, his act of self-sacrifice (vacation) will sting, but the pain will bring transformation and more importantly restoration of the forum. I think we might have needed a boot in the wranglers, and no one else could have delivered it more effectively.
For me, his takes are up there second only to @JeffSentell and serve as dawgnation gospel. That being said, I suggest we all take this opportunity for self-reflection and consider this one question:
"Do I make the forum better, or worse?"
If the answer you give yourself isn't a resounding "better" then think before you post. I know that personally I will be doing this (after this one last post of course, I promise...probably) and attempt to restrain myself from engaging with the trolls (here's looking at you @swilkerson73) or indulging in excessive disappointment over small hiccups.
There is a lot to be excited about, lets celebrate collectively and while lamenting the misses is ok, remember @SoFL_Dawg when we need some perspective and lets move on quickly, and while his vacation feels like a Sherman Flip to the Gators on NSD, I promise there are bigger and better things on the horizon to look forward to!
Also, while I almost exclusively type with sarcasm font, this one is the exception. Go Dawgs!
Good post @HumbleYourself
"Do I make the forum better, or worse?"
I make it better no doubt. If only to bring another perspective.
If you are looking for a forum full of yes men this isn't ( or shouldn't be ) it.
So many people live in an information bubble these days that it actually makes them physically uncomfortable to hear differing opinions. If that is you. You really need to get out more. Get your information or news from somewhere else a couple days a week. Read something different. If you dont? Well you arent much more than a lemming.
Everyone thinks the same in North Korea and while I have never been there I am pretty sure its awful.
Enough hugging / back patting and back on subject.
Who commits this weekend ?
@bmitcham89 had a nice timeline a page or two back
Milton, Smith, and maybe Micah Morris in 2021
Interested on peoples' thoughts IF in fact Evans were the yowza visitor AND he seemed receptive...
Given that he may want to stretch out his recruitment longer than some others and even IF he commits there's still the Texas schools lurking(ala Emery Jr/LSU)
Is he worth potentially missing on other guys for? IF Milton is in the fold does that make it less of a "bird in the hand" situation and safer to hold out for Evans? Or should they just say "thanks, but Tank and these guys are about to commit so if you want in better hurry?'
Obviously we aren't the guys making the calls and lots of hypotheticals but I'm not sure where I fall. I love Evans' tape but not sure about the risk of holding out for him personally. Not looking for another game of RB musical chairs at the last min like last year.
I think Milton as well, then rumors of a few more silents. Kirby seems to save a few public commits for dramatic effect and to control the narrative.
First off, as you mentioned, Dell is on the case and I’d trust his judgement.
I’d take Tank and be excited with the get. The guy is a stud, has done everything that was asked of him and you need players like that as part of your team. Home state factor is big, too.
Take tank and call it a day. Evans has to much antics to go along with his takent
The true face of Dawgnation...
Geez, didn't think I needed the /s for a picture of Kim Jong Un. Live and learn.
