Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

You can never accuse @Denmen185 of not standing firmly on what he believes.
Dont need a visit to flip though ?!? 🤷♂️
@Denmen185 It's a long offseason. Maybe after we drop 40 on UF this year and they're not bowl eligible, he'll reevaluate.
Also: Y'all, don't shoot the messenger. @Denmen185 posted it—he didn't tweet it.
Speculation Mullen to Dexter: “If you reaffirm your commitment we’ll be able to build around you and the other targets will come.” That’ll last until week 8-10. They won’t come. Desperation by Mullen and that’s why Dexter tagged him.
I don't take things personal but thanks for the vest 😀. I have long thought that he is staying close to home for personal reasons as evidenced by him switching to the UA game at the end of the year. I also think that he revels in being "The man" so being the top recruit in Florida's class is much more appealing than being the #10-12 in Georgia's.
Jeff also said how his parents want to see him play. Little tougher roadie to Athens in that scenario.
Im still gonna wait to see if he take some other visits though
OR OR OR
What if he knows something about Burch and UGA that we don't know yet?
What if that is why he shut it down...UGA is no longer an option because his spot is taken?
Maybe wishful thinking...or maybe not?
Different positions. Carter, Dexter, Cowan, Stackhouse are all DT. Walker, Burch are edges.
Dexter projects as a DE in our system. But I think we would gladly take both.
Regardless of recent speculation and projections, I'm of the strong opinion that Dexter is not going to flip...and even if he does, he's not coming to UGA. Does he enjoy the process of being recruited? Probably. Does he enjoy flirting with other teams? It appears so. Does he seemingly leave the door open to certain staffs? It would seem so. However, he's not going to flip to UGA. The 4th of July "big announcement" troll/text was the final confirmation for me that he's not serious about Georgia.
Lindberg - another CB to UGA now 57% with 14% undecided.
I believe the flip only happens if Florida tanks this year. Grantham is fired and mullins is put on hot seat. Just a lot of dominoes of turmoil would have to happen to see the flip. Granted this is an 18 year old and he could just wake up deciding he wants something else.
Thought I would share some of what I’m hearing today post-Clemson’s Cookout, and pre-Georgia’s BBQ. I know we have a few mutual targets out there right now.
Justin Flowe: CU is in the best position right now. He arrived Thursday and is staying through Sunday. As others have pointed out, UGA is almost solely focused on Sewell at the moment. Flowe will still likely give UGA an Official, but CU is in the lead. CU-USC-Bama-UGA-Oregon in that order right now.
Arik Gilbert: Visited very briefly last night, and CU didn’t move the needle much in his recruitment. Think we may get an official, but it won’t matter. Was told by someone I trust this morning that he’s “all Dawg.” Will be in Tuscaloosa today, but Bama feels like a distant 2nd, with Tenn a close 3rd.
Jordan Burch: I’ve mentioned before CU would need to do some work to get back in this one, and I think this visit was important. He enjoyed himself, and his mother also had a good time. Was told he’s not only quiet on the recruiting front, but is also extremely shy, and it took him a while to warm up to everyone, and it’s like that on many of his visits. CU is back in the Top 3, but still trailing. I still firmly believe UGA is #1, followed by USCjr, and then CU. Bama is a close 4th, but I doubt they will be a real contender down the stretch. Too far from home. The only out of state school he’ll go to is UGA and that’s very likely, especially with him visiting today. USC’s 5-7 or 6-6 season will be their nail in the coffin. I expect it to be UGA/CU in the end. I still like Georgia.
Also quick tidbit on a ‘21 guy:
Korey Foreman will be the #1 2021 prospect before long. He visited both UGA and Clemson this week, and I was told those are likely his early Top 2. Long way to go but another UGA/CU battle shaping up. Bama, Southern Cal, and UCLA are others to keep note of.
Thanks for the insight, @ClemTown
