- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Think you have a guy like Hankton helping with guys like Washington and Theo?
I know he’s receivers coach but those are some athletic freaks
Recruiting territory by coach:
McGee—Gwinnett and Cobb
Coley—South Florida
Scott—Carolinas
Hankston—Louisiana
Lanning—DMV
These are the ones that I remember
Pittman - has the "whole" world in his hands he has the whole world in his hands
CKS has Orem, UT.
I think Hartley is strong in N Florida.
He has relationships from his time in Miami but it’s Fountains territory.
He might have a little Canadian pull too.
Hope so eh!
No way someone on our side leaked the Evans commitment. I’m guessing A&M people leaked it in hopes to get him to delay
The recruiting process with most kids starts with the territory recruiter - which is what you guys are talking about. The recruiter for that territory stays in contact with the high school coaches in that area to keep up with how certain prospects are progressing and discover new kids the high school coach is excited about.
Depending on the recruit - if he is progressing to the point that the school is really interested in him - then the position coach would/could start focusing in on them - especially after September of Junior year when coaches can have contact with them.
Sometimes an area recruiter will build such a relationship with a kid that he stays the primary recruiter instead of the position coach.
Recruiting is very time consuming. The no contact periods in recruiting gives the kids a much needed break from the recruiting process - but it is probably as much for the coaches as it is for the kids.
It was first reported by an A&M Twitter account. That’s a given.
A Texas insider on Rivals gave Evans a CB to uga
Hartley covers a lot of Florida, including North Florida. Got a good pulse on all things around Jacksonville for sure.
Jeff, I did the best i could to remember but can we get a blurb about each coach's primary recruiting area? Might be a perfect post for Sentell's Intel or maybe even a full blown article on DawgNation.
