Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

I think he’ll transition to college fairly easy. I do think there’s a wide gap between him and Evans as the lightning back. Quickness, hands, explosiveness disparities pop out at you.
I do believe Chaney is our best realistic option following Evans. If we can get on Bijan Robinson, I’d change my tune.
Are you from that area and get to see him play?
I'm really unfamiliar with what he brings. What do you see that makes him your best?
I've seen Evans and McClellan play live a couple of times.
Ringo interview from the Dawgpost.
Darnell interview from Dawgpost as well.
No, just the footage I seen on the net. I think his style transitions very well for UGA. He's 205 lbs and is an absolute burner. I figure he will be around 220 in college. His style reminds me of Swift. He makes hard cuts and get up field extremely fast.
Love this kid. Momma is doing a great job!
Doesn’t really remember the last time he was at Texas, and Texas is the biggest competition?? Like Jeff says...follow the visits! He can’t remember the last time he was at Texas tells me they gone!! GO DAWGS!!
Bammer bound is what I'm hearing. Things can change though
Under Armour Game decision. Welp. Maybe timeline will move up? Hopefully?
Just because the world won’t know doesn’t mean that we’ll be in the dark. As of now, no pressure to move announcement up.
Does anyone know how common it is for a recruit to totally pool the wool over a staff's eyes? Is there ever a situation where they say "yeah, I'm coming to your school" and then catch the coaches by surprise with their public commitment? Whether at UGA or elsewhere, just really curious to know if this ever happens and what the ramifications are.
Ramifications? For the player maybe a angry staff and fanbase. But staffs usually dont hold grudges as its a business. But few recruits will tell a staff they want in and everything lines up but at the last minute can have a change of heart. Remember Trey Sanders last year, Rick Sandidge, etc.
George Pickens comes to mind.
So far I'm really liking the ramifications.
I doubt many do this at all. Because if they end up not liking the school they picked, they’ll want to transfer, many times to one of their top schools coming out of high school. And most realize these schools are putting lot of time, effort and money into recruiting them.
Are you easing down off Evans? Not hearing the sameness confidence in your voice about him to the Dawgs.
Are Kirby & Dell cooling on him because of the incident?
Not at all. I have shared what I think I know and have admitted we don’t know much. An incident led up to a 3 game suspension, and he’s eligible to return after 1, which was served last week.
I do not know if the incident changed anything with Evans and UGA. To my knowledge, Evans remains the priority target, and prior to the incident I believe we would’ve landed his commitment which I believed was coming prior to ND.
I do not know if anything has changed on either side.
thanks my friend - just was seeking clarification as you know it - which you just gave me - much appreciation, SoFl !!!
I've heard this from a lot of UGA fans lately, but honestly feel like its not supported in fact. I realize its the only OV he has taken thus far, but has others scheduled this fall. I've also heard a lot of talk about him wanting to be a receiver in college, but know UGA is open to that as well. Am I missing something here?
Rusty from 247 has driven that based on what he’s heard from his sources. I heard UTjr prior to the 0-2 start. @ClemTown dropped the CU knowledge this weekend.
All I know is he’s not coming to UGA because I’m confident on who is coming, and who won’t play with whom.
Is that in reference to Theo or Darnell? Either way, all of these guys are awesome athletes. Arik is a special talent, not that the others I mentioned aren't. Guess I just wanna see us get em all.
