Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

That’s a question for @JeffSentell. My info would leave me to say 2 chances. Slim and none but things could always change.
For what it’s worth, an Auburn 247 writer named Keith Niebuhr posted an article where Tank said he’s locked in at Auburn.
I’m confident that Kirby and Dell and staff will have a solid plan going forward concerning RB#2.
Go Dawgs!
Thank you for your internet presents.
We’re in a good spot for RB2; there’s plenty of time to evaluate the obvious candidates during their senior year as well as ID a late developer. Could be a blessing in disguise.
Yeah, I feel like we friendzoned Tank one too many times. That and Auburn looks like it has a strong future set with Nix at QB.
I like this attitude. And I agree.
y’all need to embed Ashaad Clayton into your heads. he’s good.
@SoFL_Dawg do you happen to know to what extent we are still engaged with Lloyd?
Yeah, you can’t blame Tank. Georgia basically left him at the alter, and now we are trying to mend broken fences.
Yes, if Dell wants him I concur with this. I do think Dell will look elsewhere first.
The reality on Clayton is that LSU didn’t/doesn’t want him. If they did, we wouldn’t be mentioning him here. Similar to UGA and Edwards, Pryor, Gibbs. If UGA wanted them they wouldn’t be looking elsewhere. Clayton has already been labeled with durability concerns and as we know, it doesn’t get easier in the SEC. He’s talented, and off to a great start this year but does he push the two deep in the first 18 months? White, Milton, Cook, McIntosh...lots of talent going to be back next year. Is he a ST player?
Also, can’t ignore the fact that the competition is Kansas here. I’m not going to pretend to be a humble fan when it comes to RBs at RBU. Kansas...really? If he’s a Dawg I’ll embrace him as such but until then, let’s see where Dell decides to look first.
Yes still recruiting him consistently but not vigorously...is that too much?
As far as rb goes, I hope we go after a lightning back with hands. With Zeus Mac and Milton in the fold all we have in that category is cook, who we believe to be gone after next year.
We have a full cupboard of the tote the rock up the middle types. I want to see us with a little bit of talent variety and grab someone with a little more speed and receiving skills who is a threat to break a big play, a la cook Swift or Michel.
FWIW, we are trying to earn an OV with Bijan Robinson. We have not yet earned that OV. To your point, EJ Smith probably fits the mold of APB the best now. That doesn’t mean I think he’s the priority yet.
Well beggars can’t be choosers, but I’ve heard mention EJ isn’t the caliber of back we typically take. I want us to find a playmaker type, but also have to keep in mind you need a certain level of talent to get touches and be effective for this team.
This situation is why the staff is so good: they can recruit with the best of em and win battles, but they also have a lot of success identifying lower ranked guys with high ceilings. I’m skeptical we could pull bijan, but both the Aggie and Dawg part of me would be ecstatic if we did. He’s a monster.
so I read your comments and what I got out of this is that we dropped Evans for Evan (Pryor)!!! Which I’m all for.
