I would request the prayers of all my Dawgnation friends that are believers.
It is times like this that make my beloved Dawgs losing a ball game seem very unimportant and certainly puts things in perspective.
Just a thought for you all to take or leave. It's just a football game played by young guys I don't know and don't know me. I've seen hundreds, will see hundreds more, we will win some, we will lose some. But make sure you know what really is important in this fleeting thing we call life. Your loved ones are here with you today. They may be laying in a casket tomorrow. Never take them for granted...live and savor each day and show them your love for them like it's your last day to have a chance to do it. Know what truly is important in life.

I hate to hear it. My Mom passed in 2011, Dad had passed 3 years prior to that. The thing I hadn't considered till Mom passed is the loss of my home compass, there is no home base for their children now, nowhere to go to get in touch with our beginnings.
It gets easier as time passes though.
