Hey SC looks to be on fire. Maybe a good time to flip Lloyd??
Rusty put his cb in for Evans to LSU...
Will be interesting to see if they decide to take another back. That spot might be going elsewhere.
Edwards-Helaire had 20 carries for 104 yards against bama; that's a decent amount of attempts.
Are we OK with White, McIntosh, Milton, and Cook being the only scholarship RBs next year??
I know Zeus is going to be alright between the tackles and Kmac is interesting....but still so much unknown. Cautiously optimistic though.
Id feel better if we had a Lloyd.
100% speculation, I have not heard this. I do not believe there will be a second back in this class unless it’s Evans.
The effort that would be necessary to flip a back talented enough to be a UGA back today hasn’t been there for anyone else. The indicators are that the scholarship will go to someone else. I believe that effort will be going towards Stroud, who likely holds out until traditional signing day to make his decision.
Arian Smith, Jordan Burch, and CJ Stroud look to be the February targets as of now.
You can pick your friends but not your family! ?
I don’t think we need to worry about quarter back next year I believe Fromm stays, unless he wins it all this year
Yes, we would be OK. Zeus will be back and have less than 150 carries in his 2.5 years on campus. Milton will be ready. Kmac will have less than 30 carries and body will be fresh. Cook is primed for touches.
Then add Wren who’s capable of taking carries. Finally we have 2 PWO in emergency situations that had scholarship offers to lower ranked schools (assumes they remain obviously).
You recruit the best players and let competition sort the rest out. 4 arms is what staff wants on campus at all times. The effort being put into Stroud is an indicator of the value staff has for him.
Preistly could transfer for a scholarship (similar to Downing). Mathis’s health is uncertain and staff has to prepare for attrition. It is possible 3 in the room today may not be there next year. This is why the urgency is there.
I want Stroud and Stockton. Stockton’s tape looks really good especially for a sophomore the ball comes out of his hand so fluidly and he’s good at extending plays outside the pocket.

Texas just had a recent flurry of decommits. Any we would take a look at?
4* DE Princely Umanmielen
4* CB Josh Eaton
4* CB Ethan Pouncey
FSU had a few as well.
4* RB Jaylan Knighton
4* CB Isahia Dunson
UGA would probably have a better shot at Stockton, if they landed Stroud this year, as opposed to landing Caleb Williams next year.
Eaton - looks like OK is the move
Pouncey - Aub / uf battle id guess (we arnt in it)
FSU - these guys will probably be on hold until the new HC is announced (they have a spot as fsu secured, so may look around for a bit)
