Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Location does matter, and that’s why I’m not ready to consider LSU a fit in the end. I’ll admit they’re buzzing, but don’t all schools buzz following an impressive official visit? LSU also has the added advantage of Burch witnessing them beat Bama in Tuscaloosa.
But there’s a reason LSU hasn’t been a factor until now. Distance. Alabama, same issue.
In my mind, it was always going to come down to UGA, CU, and USC. Out of those 3?
USC: program is going nowhere; incompetent staff
CU: Excellent program, staff ticked off Mama
UGA: perfect medium; excellent program, competent staff on Mom’s good side, and close to home
Hope everyone is starting to see the logic here..it’s not an exact science but there’s a reason UGA fans should feel confident, and why I’ve been so confident projecting him to Athens
A quick look at the rest of his feed and it seems as if he was all LSU a week ago... seems like LSU is having to make room for someone else
Yeah I think we have to weather the storm and hit a home run with momma Burch during hopefully a Dec OV.
Again, aren’t all elite recruits “all” whoever they visit the previous week? LSU will give a push, as has Oregon for a couple of other defensive TPO targets, but you have to trust the staff, number of visits, SoFL/ClemTown and stop trying to find something negative in EVERYTHING!
I think we could hit it out of the park with 7-8 5 stars to end the class and you would still complain about one of them driving a car that’s not red or black.
Next to commit
Walker
Probably making room for another offensive linemen
Zach Evans update
Not necessarily a surprise here, hearing he’s given his silent commitment to LSU. If true, as of “today”, I believe Milton will be it for 2020 at RB.
It could change considering the the roller coaster of this one, but hearing it’s a firm silent.
Happy Friday and Go Dawgs!
Yeah but once we beat LSU in a couple of weeks we get to pick whichever one of their recruits we want. Those are just the rules of football.
Have fun running behind that line next year Zach!
come on down z-man Walker!
Or i guess that Dl decommit makes room for Evans, potentially.
But as @Kasey , they might need to grab some oline or that next couple years offense will look like FSU.
Red rover, red rover, send Zach Evans right over.
I was hoping he would end up at UGA but we will be fine. Hopefully Zeus becomes the force we all expect him to be, and I think that’ll be the case with increased opportunities and an offense that may have to break in a new qb and lean on the run game more heavily. Throw in Mac, Milton and Cook and I like our running backs room just fine as is.
Dang sucks on Evans. Shows that neither depth chart scared him. Would've loved his commitment.
Honestly LSU is the flavor of the day.
Bama had a down year and these kids are gambling that this is now LSUs time. We will see. Hopefully they didn’t just lock themselves into the music city bowl for 4 years.
Burrow and Brady are gone and that D will still be the same while the offensive line will be weak.
This is LSUs big year and I 100% agree that Bama will be back.
LSU has no QB in waiting.
Yep - they will be in that honeymoon phase of recruiting for the next couple of years after a big year like this.
Which is why they are trying to capitalize on it. It may be too much skill and not enough in the trenches, but they are making hay while the sun is shining.
This may hurt us some, but I think the more teams there are recruiting well the less chance there is of a Bama-style dynasty going forward. I think this is good for the sport. Plus, I trust it will hurt us less than just about every recruiting staff out there. We gone get ours.
