We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Why do you believe Hartley has or would have such a big role in determining the offensive philosophy and scheme? We have been hearing stories about getting the TEs more included as offensive weapons (as opposed to blockers) since Kirby got here (or at least since Chaney became OC)...in fact it is almost an annual rite of passage during the off season (this past year included).
Want Evans.
Not sour grapes but isn’t this kid in a middle of a playoff run with his team?
If you’re going to commit, do so. Indicators are indicating...could be a good “miss”.
So did Brod Jones... and Marshawn Lloyd. Still time to grab him from the reeling Roosters??
Yes please.
Somehow I just can’t see UGA only going with 4 scholly RBs on the roster in any given year. Maybe I’m wrong but wasn’t it not even long ago when we had a couple guys hurt and out for spring where we were having a hard time running practices and scrimmages ? Can never have enough depth at that position.
Agree
Yup! With the rotation we're using to seeing at the position, we're one play away from being in a very stick situation.
With all due respect, I don't remember having as talented of TE prospects as we could possibly get in this 2020 class. Goede should be good next year, a year removed from HS ball and we had our next best option transfer to Illinois. I strongly believe these two are more athletic and pose a size difference that we haven't had in some time (Ben Watson and Leonard Pope; Nauta was good but slower).
He has got to be the most mercurial person in the world. Wow
I would normally agree to this, but I think this is a different situation at this point. We all thought that we would take 2 RB this year, and it just didn't pan out. Milton is a man, and I am not sure that anyone wants to come in and be #5. Plus, with our shortcomings, the need is in other places, TBH.
Plus, count Wren as a RB/WR hybrid.
Maybe. We'll know in 2 weeks.
Cosign as another that isn't a fan of possibly not going with a 2nd back this time. We "probably" can get away with it, but it makes 2 top backs in 2021 arguably the number one or two priority to me (along with ILB, although I don't mind as much just prioritizing the top guys here and otherwise moving on in 2020 since that room is stacked), and not a case where we can go "eh, lets just stick with trying to land the BPA" if there are misses again.
It's not even about missing Evans for me, from the way he's gone he doesn't seem like he'll be a miss to me. It's about protecting ourselves in the case of injury at the position.
Is Brod visiting Auburn?
I cringed Saturday when the announcer said “Charlie Woerner gets his first touchdown pass!”
I thought, “Lord, don’t let TJ hear that...”
With how we emphasize the run game I can’t believe we only had 5 this year. I think we need 6. We will definitely be taking a 2nd RB in 2020. Sevaughn Clark could get a scholarship.
like I have said all along, we will sign 26-27 new players for the 2020 cycle. (including transfer portal)
So here is the question then, and I realize it is a fool's errand, but....
Assuming we get the BEST class we can at this point (INCLUDING Burton, Theo, DW, Smith and the other leans); who do you 'kick' out to take what would be AT BEST the #10 back on @SoFL_Dawg 's list??
Assuming we are out on Tank, Lloyd, Chaney and those dudes, do we take Gibbs over Burton? Or Smith? Or Stroud??
Gibbs wont play for UGA even if those dudes go down as we will take at least 1 next year and then the year after. I have to think that Gibbs would be even lower on BPA than those other WR.
I agree with this.
We need a 2nd RB & a 2nd LB in 2020 just so we don’t have to go so heavy in future years.
Rice/Quay Walker/Adam Anderson/Channing Tindall/ Jermaine Johnson/Walter Grant could all have to be replaced by the 2021 cycle.
with only Sherman coming in as a player with experience to replace them in the 2021 season.
The more I read about Burch, the more convinced I am that we land him. We may not be his perfect school, but we're his best option by a long shot.
Clemson - Dabo peeved mom in a big way.
SC - terrible on field performance
Alabama and LSU - too far from mom.
UGA - close enough to mom. Good relationship with the staff. Individually and as a group the DL has shown the most improvement of any position group on the team aka player development.
UGA checks the most boxes.
This is a good comparison, but I think two things makes this go SC's way:
1) Javon Kinlaw
2) Coach Boom/son plays with Burch at Hammond
